Black Leather Pouch Case Compatible with Samsung Galaxy Note 1 N7000 and Samsung Galaxy Note 2 N7100 I605 L900 I317 T889

I've been looking for a case like this for my Galaxy Note II for some time. It seems a good value for the money paid (not the ridiculous retail price), but it is clearly made for the original Note and not the Note II. The Note II only fits because the elastic ends stretch the extra 1/4 inch required. No claim of compatibility with Note II by seller unlike others that list the Note II the upscale version with metal emblem, so I give this one a pass.A bare Note II is a tight fit lengthwise. This is no surprise since the inside dimensions are given as 5.75 x 3.31 x 0.55 inches on the label in the interior of the case. The dimensions of the phone are 5.95 x 3.17 x 0.37 inches. Too bad this seller and virtually no seller of this type of case on Amazon provides dimensions in their product descriptions. Again no surprise because the manufacturer Reiko Wireless doesn't provide them in their product details on their website. Crazy that they are on the tag in the case, but nowhere in online specs.Reiko doesn't have a Note II specific pouch listed on their web site as of January 7, 2013 and I don't think any other manufacture does either at this point.One star off for not providing the interior dimensions which led to a less than optimal purchase.

For my Note 3 it fits well, not too tight, not too loose. It would most likely work with a protective case, but I keep my Note 3 naked and haven't stretched it to it's full potential so it still has the shape and form that prevents flopping around.This is a good looking case although it's a bit big to have on a belt, then again, we bought a device that is kinda big to go on a belt, didn't we? And we aren't sorry. And actually when it's clipped on my belt I forget it's there as it is comfortable and secure. I actually was looking for my phone one day while sitting in my car and forgot I was wearing it.The material looks and feels quality and I've had no stitching fails after several months unlike some other brands.The interior is lined with a soft protective fuzzy material that protects the screen and finish, and when I'm not using it it's always in the case, so I decided not to get a molded hard or soft case for the phone itself, but just to be careful and use this holder when I'm not holding the phone.The clip is very sturdy and has a very strong springiness that will NEVER wear out and a shape that will never allow detatchment from the belt even if you were hanging upside down, or going over Niagra falls without a barrel. It is a bit of a pain to get it ON your belt unless you help open the spring a bit first to get it over the first bit.It also has the loops for even more securement but I don't see the need at this time.Unlike other brands or models that have elastic sides to grip the phone, this has the real leather (or whatever it is that looks like leather?) that will break in and remember the shape of your phone so it holds it perfectly and it isn't a wrestling match FOREVER to get it in and out of the case. Just stick your finger in the slot at the bottom, and push your phone up and it easily will come out.The flap rides nice, closes completely and has a much more impressive magnetic securement than my last holder did. Not too much, but it won't be accidently flapping open while horseback riding, BMX'ing, or breaking in your new pogo stick either.

One thing I will say is that I heard of other products and the little magnet inside for the flap, was causing some phones to dis-color on the screen.(magnets and electronics do not work well together) Upon reading that and being overly cautious of my note 2, I used a utility knife to cut a small slit where the magnets are.(flap and base) I slid them out and used construction velcro bought from a local hardware store over the tiny slits. That keeps its good and tight and I do not have to worry about magnets near all that screen I got.(Please do not take it that the magnets did not do a good job or that they were to strong, I did that as a precaution)The pouch still looks new and is well made. Even the elastic which allows some give on the sides has not shown stretch and I am always taking my phone in and out for work or personal tasks. Great product

This leather pouch is great. It fits both the Galaxy Note 1 and 2 perfectly. It is well made and I bought mine from Amazon for under $5 which is a bargain.The pouch is roomy enough to accomendate the Incipio cover on the Note and it slips in and out withoug a problem. However it is very snug with CaseMate cover on it (which is thicker than the Incipio); you'll find it difficult to get out of the pouch once in. I suspect that once the leather pouch is broken in (strecthed out) it should be able to easily slip the phone out with the CaseMate cover on it.This case is wonderful and I am very happy with my purchase.Update 2/19/2013 I went ahead and purchased a second one. The second one was slightly different from the frist one. This one has the a sliver plastic emblem placed on the front of the flap. The original had the name of the manufacturer embossed/imprinted onto the flip. Both are made with the same high quality. I am glad the second one arrived with the variation as we can tell our phones apart when the case.Please note that if you do have a cover as thick as the CaseMate that I have found the this case to still fitting snuggly. It is still rubbing the lip of the CaseMate and is causing some "pilling" around the edges and some may not like the look; but I don't mind. I find that the protection this case and my CaseMate provides for my Galaxy Note 2. I am extremely happy with both cases and highly recommend this case. You can't go wrong with it and the price is great.
