A Well-Written Interesting Collection of Financial Vignettes
A thoroughly enjoyable read! Taylor Schulte and Justin Castelli present a collection of examples of financial planning situations and solutions. It's an educational read... like sitting down with a book of financial short stories. There are multiple financial planners discussing particular experiences from their practices. So, you get a diverse set of example situations. It helps me to think about my own financial planning needs in a constructive way.

Exceeded My Expectations
More Than Money is unique and captivating and not what I expected. I was prepared for an educational but frankly, boring read but what I found was a book filled with real-life stories that I read in one sitting. The blend of storytelling with financial planning is a refreshing approach that I found relatable and entertaining.

Excellent, thought provoking book about the power of financial planning
I loved the stories about REAL financial planning. It's so much more than just the numbers and charts. This book does an excellent job of explaining the WHY of financial planning. Loved it!

Eh
I was initially hoping this book would be similar to Morgan Housel’s, The Psychology of Money. It is not, instead it is a collection of short stories from financial planners and advisors patting themselves on the back as they over exaggerate the impact they supposedly had on their clients lives. I’m sure the people who are in this book will get a kick out of it, but for your average personal finance enthusiast, there are better books. Also, not sure what was going on with the publishing, but this book is full of different sized text etc. which is quite distracting.

This is what financial planning is about
I'm slightly biased since I am a part of the project but the stories within More Than Money paint a clear picture of what real financial planning looks like. The stories from the various financial advisors are in fact real stories, not fictitious tales, and readers will most certainly identify with at least one of scenarios, if not more. Readers will learn how a financial advisor focused on listening, understanding, and helping clients can help them navigate the emotions of finance and ultimately make the decisions that are best for them and their families.More Than Money will also expose financial advisors to a more impactful way to serve clients...many advisors are still in organizations still focused on sales, not advice and planning. I hope the book helps advisors to look to do more for their clients and help them in more ways than just money.

So many real stories that capture the power of financial planning. This shares how much more financial planning is than just investment management.
