Artisanal coffee with quality and flavor that cannot be matched
This is my favorite coffee so I have done some research on the company and have found that they not only sell this coffee, but they also grow & roast it too. What this says to me is that special, artisanal care is taken with each batch and the rich, high quality flavor proves this. This coffee really does stand out from other coffee I have tried. I like strong coffee but I don't like coffee that is too bitter, which is often a problem when I make my coffee strong. Will definitely be buying more and sharing with friends and family.Update 7/9/17: This is hands down the best coffee I have ever had. When I bought it, it was at the recommendation of a friend and I was partially expecting all of his hype about it to boil down to a coffee that basically tastes the same as every other bean out there. This actually does taste BETTER than other high quality coffees. And I am very picky about what coffee I enjoy -- my girlfriend even got me a mug that says "Coffee Snob." This coffee is full of flavor and is unlike any other coffee I've tried. I'm so glad that it was recommended to me and I will be a long time buyer. Would STRONGLY recommend this to anyone who enjoys a good cup of coffee!

Great tasting smooth coffee
Received this today and had to give it a quick taste test. I found it to be very enjoyable. I grind my own coffee every morning and make a pot to take to work. This is much smoother than the Costco/Starbuck house blend that I usually drink. I noticed that the color is a lighter brown and seemed to grind much quicker. I had my granddaughter, daughter- in- law and her mother taste test the coffee and we all agreed that it was less acidic and a much smoother tasting coffee compared to my normal brand and the Folgers they usually drink. It is more like a dessert coffee that you would enjoy after a pleasing meal.

Strong, smooth cup of coffee
I use this coffee in my stovetop espresso maker, and originally thought it was too strong and bitter. But, then I realized that it came out great if I just used a smaller volume of grounds per cup. My mother is more of a coffee aficionado than I am, and she really loved it when I made coffee this way. She was surprised that it came out so well, since I had opened the package a while ago, so it seemed like it should have gotten stale, but it hadn’t. I gave her my espresso maker and the ground coffee, and she said she also likes it better for making a pour-over than her usual grounds.

A nice cuppa from the coffee estates of South India
The world of coffee is familiar with exports from Ethiopia, Costa Rica, Indonesia and Colombia. But there are gems from other regions of the world awaiting to be discovered. Parts of South India are located at the right latitude with soil and climate necessary to cultivate really good coffee beans. This cup of coffee is marked for its low acidity. The quality in this case isn't from dark roasting but by virtue of the beans themselves. The flavor is predominantly light toast and hazelnut. Also a thing to note is there's no chicory (a roasted and ground plant root) mixed in with coffee beans. Most South Indian coffees have around 15-20% chicory content. So if you drink your coffee au lait, expect a lighter creamier flavor.

Deliciousness!
Drinking this coffe is like having dessert for breakfast! It is a super smooth blend with hints of caramelly deliciousness. Just smelling it when I first opened the bag was a thrill to my senses...I knew I was going to love it. In fact I not only drink it in the morning but I've been making a cup in my French press after work each day as a bit of a treat to myself. I'll definitely be back for more!

I really wanted to like this coffee :(
I really wanted to like this coffee. It smells good in the bag, but doesn't have the same taste. Tastes old, dusty, musty, dirty; off-the-floor flavors best describe it. Guess that's exactly how it's processed according to the description from the grower/roaster, so I shouldn't be surprised. With everyone else giving it 5 stars perhaps I got a bad batch, but i doubt it. I won't be buying again.

Do your research!
I must do my research better. I thought I was getting AAA coffee and it is not. It is just A coffee. Not impressed at all with this. It is over priced average coffee. Small amount for the price. Does not have a great aroma when brewing. Will not buy again.

Best coffee ever!!!
Man oh man, where do I even start. This coffee is uh-may-zingly good. I have my coffee with no sugar and always add creamer to make it taste better. Also a lot of coffee gives me acid reflux because of high acidity levels. Not this one!!! No creamer needs since the coffee is great on its own. Also very smooth tasting with low acidity! Will definitely buy again
