Raise a child well
With a granddaughter diagnosed on the Spectrum' as grandparents we got on the case and sought several books to help us nderstand how we could be of any assistance. This book is describe as "the definitive handbook". Whether or not that flame can be substantiated is another matter. What I would say it certainly is a help to those who have such a child in their lives. I recommend this book.

Excellent for parents and OTs new to sensory processing
Fabulous book. I'm an independent paediatric OT. Im contacted by so many mum's who have no access to an OT who has specialist experience in sensory processing issues. Although the section on finding an OT is about the system in the USA the book is jam packed with information and advice for everyday issues. Lyndsay Beil's books are a great resource.

Sensory Processing explained for everyone
Very clear explanations and suggestions, examples and case studies. This really explained why some children don't process the messages they should be getting from their senses and how to help them improve these abilities. No quick fixes but not too much doom and gloom either. There's hope for everyone to improve their sensory processing.

Helpful but not my go-to SPD guide
This is a helpful book but very text heavy due to the relatively small font size - so it’s not really a book I find myself going back to as a reference guide when I need to refresh my memory

Very poor quality of finish
This is stretching the notion of paperback to no cover worth a mention. The reading is interesting, but doubt the book will last long before falling apart.
