I needed these to connect old coax cable connectors to new ones & they work great.I called the shop & asked for their advice & got friendly & helpful guidance, not only to what I needed to buy, but he even gave me the item number so I didn't need to search. You can't go wrong with companies that do things like this for you :)

The weight of this product is all wrong, if they are in fact gold plated. Suspect they are actually gold painted. Should have bought the standard metal ones, as this gold colouring, more than likely, reduces electrical conductivity, rather than improving it, as actual gold plating would have.

The coaxial female to F plug adaptor made for a very rapid installation when replacing an older aerial distribution amplifier [had older style female coaxial sockets] to a recent manufacture Labgear replacement distribution amplifier that featured the current F socket inputs. Electrosmart adaptors generally represent good value and a very quick turn round of orders. Recommended!

If you use F splitters/diplexers/amps but need to connect some standard coax cables then this work well and are cheap enough. The connection seems to be quite secure on both ends (F and coax) and unlikely to break.However, long term you may consider either going to F sockets/cables completely or buy/make F to coax cables and forego adapters.

These small adapter plugs help enormously with boosting my digital radio signal. It is a pity that you buy 5 in a single order but the cost is small and the improvement is worth it. You do need to have a TV a riel connection and in my case a signal boosting unit to complete the overal effect.

I did not use this myself as I know very little about this type of thing, my partner however has used it to connect the TV and the DAB radio to the aerial, the only thing I know is that they both work now whereas the DAB I could not get a signal on. Well done!

If you are planning to install a masthead amp using your existing kit, make sure you purchase these connectors to turn your existing coax/RF connectors into the F-type connector required. Well manufactured and solid finish. Great price, quality product.

I ordered this by mistake thinking it was a F Plug without the female adapter. however I have found that this item is much more useful and very well made. It allows you to quickly convert a standard fly lead to a F Connector in seconds. Glad I made the mistake.
