Only stuff that worked for my little black house ants.
I tried every kind of bait I could find - the Terro stuff that everyone raves about, Advion gel bait stations, the ones you buy in the store... all of it. I made my own with honey and borax, and tried other solutions like sprays, oils, vinegar, everything. I treated the outside of the house as well, unsuccessfully. And they flat out ignored any of the bait stations.I finally had an exterminator come out. He told me to not spray Terro or anything that says "insecticide" because it alerts ants (they can smell it), and then they divide their nests and reproduce rapidly. That's why they'd go away for a few days and come back again... they were hunkering down to reproduce. So, he put some gel bait out in a few spots, and said he'd come back to treat my house once the pesticide sprays have worn off... otherwise it'd just make the problem worse again.I noticed the gel that the exterminator put out was actually attracting the ants! This hadn't happened for me with anything else. I had this Atticus Savitri gel that I hadn't opened yet, and decided to try it because it looked similar to what he was using. I don't know if it contains the same active ingredients. But I do know that it worked with the same level of effectiveness.I put the gel in cracks wherever I saw ants. I also laid out a couple shallow metal jar lids with some bait in it, in areas I didn't want the gel touching. And guess what? The ants LOVE it! Within a couple hours (or in some cases, a couple days), there is a line of ants filling up on this stuff and taking it back to their nest. The line continues for a few days, and then starts to die back. That's when it gets even grosser, but also more gratifying. You will find piles and lines of dead ants in the areas they have been crawling. Whereas before you probably didn't notice all their little highways, now you can see exactly which routes they've been using. And you can vacuum them all up. Ew. I know. Gross...When a bait spot seems to die down, I add more fresh bait, and leave it there. Often more ants will venture in and pick some up, and sometimes another active line will form. It is very creepy and gross, and you need to be prepared to let the ants crawl over places you'd rather not have them. But on the upside, it does keep them going to one place. For example, I put a lid with several dollops of gel bait in the windowsill near my desk. It diverted ALL the ants off my desk and onto the window sill. No more freaking out mid-meeting because I see an ant crawling on my hand.I'm really happy with this stuff so far. It seems to be lessening my ant problem when every other home solution failed. If you have little black ants in your home that are too picky to eat anything you put out so far, give this stuff a try. Just dont spray anything that says "insecticide" on it, and the ants will keep coming and start to die off. It's a commitment and can be hard to stomach. But, at least in my case, it seems to be worth it so far.Possibly helpful details: I live in the Pacific Northwest (north of Seattle). These ants are small and all black, and seem to be attracted to water and warmth, as well as any food crumbs or grease. I can successfully wipe their scent trails away with soapy water, which in some cases helps keep them from traveling across areas I don't want them walking. This helps a lot while I await the home treatment. I hope this helps someone!

Finally something that works reasonably well.
We live in South Orange County where we struggle mightily with ants every summer. They seem to get tougher each year, becoming uninterested/resistant to the usual consumer products from Terro, Combat and the like. This product actually attracts them and seems to have some impact in controlling the ants. Not a perfect fix but it seems to be giving us the upper hand this season. Product dispenses from a syringe and is easy to assemble and disassemble after use. I primarily apply in gaps between baseboards and floor, casements, window/door sills per the directions. Draws a ton of ants, then they disappear for a week or two, then I have to reapply. Not sure the poison ever truly gets to the queen as they suggest.

Order it!!
The media could not be loaded. Save some money and order this product! It truly works wonders. I purchased it last spring when my kitchen was overrun with ants. I received a quote from a pest control company, and their treatment fees were exorbitant. I managed to use two tubes last year and saved the remaining two for this year; remarkably, the ants hardly made a reappearance thanks to the treatment from spring. I've only needed to use one tube this season. If I could, I would give it ten stars ⭐️ I would —it's the best ant gel I've ever bought!

Works very well
This stuff works great. You have to let the ants eat it. They take it back to the nest and it kills them all. I had a large trail in my kitchen going to the rock sugar. I put this along their trail and they started eating it imminently. It attracts them so they’ll eat it. It’s hard to just leave them be and give them time to eat it as I wanted them all gone out of my kitchen. But I left them and within hours they were all gone. They retreated back and all died. They never came back. I love how it comes in a syringe it makes it so easy to apply. I bought another pack already. I definitely keep it on hand.

Good bait
Works adequately. The gel is thick so it stays in place.

Our new go ant killer
We had issues with ants in our kitchen for months. We tried other products and traps. Nothing worked. The ants would show up at night, linger around early morning and dissappear. No clue where they were coming from and no clue why no other product we tried would work. Even the little bait traps they seemed to laugh at. Within one day of applying some of the savitri ant gel around the kitchen and under the sink, our ant problem has completely disappeared. I'm convinced this product is what did it. I'm just shocked that it worked that quick as I expected it to take days if not weeks. At this point it has probably been several weeks since we've applied the product and still not one single ant has shown back up. I didn't use much from the first of the 3 syringes, so I've applied the rest of the first syringe around our front and rear wooden deck. This will be our go to ant killer from now on. Worth every penny.

I’ll never need another until the ants evolve.
Saw tiny ants in the new home, no big deal, I’ve picked up some other ant bait before and it usually does the trick. I knew I needed something not in a “tray” or container because these things were about as tiny as ants can possibly get.First, you get SO MUCH ant bait in this set, you could probably take care of your entire street. I say that, because it works SO FAST I’m worried the next step in evolution will take place in my home or how else will this species of invisible ants survive? I put a couple drops in hidden little nooks and crannies, edges of the door frame, but I didn’t really need to. I put one drop in front of an ant, got ready for bed, and when I walked by again that drop was swarmed with all the intruders! Come morning, none were left. Just a few pests to wipe away.
