Bought these for our emergency supplies, very long shelf life, very high in calories meaning you don't have to eat the whole bar in 1 setting could probably get multiple "meals" out of 1 bar. Good deal for how many you get. I haven't eaten them because they are more like a "break in case of emergency" supply, but my husband states he has had them before and taste great! not like cardboard. Very easy food item that can be used as a to go food, munchy food. Great quality packaging also.

Put each pack of whatever brand in freezer zip lock bags to protect the foil package.

The vacuum seal broke mysteriously about 5 days after I got it. Wasn’t too worried because I used them pretty quick. After 2.5 days without food they were very very pleasant. Gave a boost of energy and weren’t over powering like some other brands. Packaging needs work, but good product.

My partner and I tried a couple of these out in two different sittings just to see how they were. We wouldn’t say they taste like blueberry. They taste sharply medicinal almost with maybe some artificial flavoring? Tastes a lot like those old Flintstones vitamins if you ever had those. Which makes sense I guess, because they have vitamins and/or minerals in these. He couldn’t stand the flavor, but I could tune it out if I had to. The real problem though was that it upset both our stomachs on both occasions we tried them (even though we didn’t even finish them the second time). Definitely not optimal for any sort of survival/emergency situation. So if you don’t mind flavor much and you got stronger stomachs than us (which are admittedly average to weak), maybe they’d be fine. As for us, this was a waste of money. Especially because we realized after we opened the main bag, all the individuals weren’t wrapped well enough to trust them to keep in storage or to give them to anyone.
