Took the baby just a moment to detach the corners. The double sided tape does not work. But if you purchase gorilla glue two sided tape, that works well with this product. Product also feels a bit stiff, so while it might avoid a cut, pretty sure you might still get a bruise.

Comer with sticker for attachment but sticker is white and doesn’t match the clear appearance. Also, there are no extra stickers, so you can’t make a mistake applying the guard, and you can’t move it after the first application.

For the corners of a metal stove hood fan that kept attacking our foreheads. We have ours secured with disk magnets in addition to the adhesive--a good idea for upside down applications on metal.
