LAYOER 9 Pieces of Ergonomic Crochet Crochet Set with Extra Long Soft Handle, Size B (2.5mm)-J (6mm) Household Handicraft Crochet

They are a great size. Comfy. I love them. I don't like that 1 was soo jacked up I couldn't use it!!! I didn't know it had a prob., bc I used it after my 1 project was done, & ret. time had expired

They are great. Crochets great. Dont spilt the yarn and comfortable in you hand. Only thing I dont like is the print of what size they are came out the third time or so I used them. So I made a chart of what they are. But they are for the money and comfort.

I bought this set as a gift to the person that I am going to start teaching how to crochet. I made some swatches from the hooks so I could test how they would feel in my hands, and of course to test for any defects. I am NOT a professional reviewer, and I surely did not get any kickbacks for this review :D I am just a normal customer that feels compelled to share my thoughts on this set. (which, I'm totally going to get 2 more sets before the price gets jacked up!)Appearance: Multi colour and appealing to the eyesFeel: There are ridges in the silicon/plastic (not sure of the material, but is soft and firm in the right places... oh good Lord, that did NOT come out right!! But not sure how to word it to get the point across.) The spots of white on the hook is a harder plastic, whereas the colour is the softer silicone touch that is like memory foam for our fingers. So, the back side is mostly the softer silicon and the way I hold my hook it is laying up against the palm of my hand. Feels comfortable to the touch. Where the thumb goes the ridges provide a slip free environment. It feels cozy. The hook and the throat measure about 1.5" and the body is about 5". For comparison purposes I pulled out one of my ergonomic and my aluminum beloved hooks. The ergonomic body was around 4" and the throat and hook measure about 1.5". The aluminum body measured body 4", throat/hook about 1.75".Use: As I was working swatches with each of the different size hooks I had no anomalies that would cause the hooks to snag. There were no weird burbles in the metal, nothing that deterred from the yarn sliding with ease across the hook, slow or fast, it was nice to work with.I definitely give the hooks 5 stars.The case is just an ordinary zippered pouch that holds them all in a bundle. Simple and practical to keep the cost down to the consumer... I give the pouch 5 stars as well based on what I believe the seller is trying to do for us the clients. Provide an affordable, usable tool that works like any of the top brands.I hope that this review helps others! Take care and Bless each and everyone of you!

UPDATE 4/9/22 - After making a whopping 3 granny squares the size marking rubbed off. Spiffy. The plastic handles have over pour off plastic that's subtly irritating to your skin. I took 2 hours with nippers to clip all the rough edges off.
