I've been in the market for a boom arm for quite a while but I could never decide on which one I wanted. Most of the cheap ones don't have the best reviews, and the higher quality arms can get quite expensive. This particular boom arm seemed like a good middle option. It costs a bit more than the cheaper ones but isn't quite as expensive as some of the higher quality options. I've had it for about a month now and so far it's been great. It has excellent build quality and is very sturdy. It's really easy to move around and position my mic exactly where I want it. I also appreciate that it has little clips that keep the cabling nice and clean. Setting it up was also a breeze- it's really simple and easy to install on any desk or surface and only took a couple of minutes. I also don't feel like I need to worry about it coming lose or anything like that. Overall I'm very satisfied and would definitely recommend this boom arm.

ok. prior to this,i have had about a half dozen mic booms from various manufactures,in price ranges from 35-150 dollars. i settled on heil brand for the last few years,as they make fairly good ham/amateur radio equiptment.in MY station,i like to use audio technica microphones, and generally find their products to be superior.i was doing some re and re of my SHACK, and decided i wanted to give this boom a try, although you cannot find much info on the internet, nor find anything in specifications....very poor in my book! But, i eyeballed the boom pics to mic size and detemined it may be between 14-18 inches,so i ordered one here on amazon.ca. it arrived, and i assembled it to my desk, etc. the build of the boom arms is tremendous,FULL 1/2 square stock,vs others at 3/8. the boom overall length of each arm is 16inches end to end.nice desk clamp, with nylonbushing to articulate in.and the clamp is of MUCH thicker and robust build than other brands.i have 2, yes 2 audio technica mics hanging from this with a adapter plate, and it handles the weight NO PROBLEM! im going to order another one to install on the other side of my ham station desk i like it so much. ide recommend this to someone that does not need huge reach and like good build quality for the pricepoint! good job audio technica,BUT please provide specifications of your product!

Great replacement for a much much cheaper broadcast boom arm I had for a few years, which finally bent. This one will last much longer, and I appreciate the cable management clips provided, setup works well with my Mogami 2549. Plus I have Audio Technica mics and headphones.

It's defective - heavy and unable to fit back into the box because it's defective but I have to provide a box. It's heavy dangerous and unacceptable. If it's defective refund me save me the hassle
