Bsrezn 200g UV Resin Kit with Light, Crystal Clear Solar Activated UV Resin for Jewelry Making (100g x 2)

Did really well. The more you put on an area the longer it takes to dry but still quick drying compared to other resin. It’s really hard, I didn’t have any bubbles big or small. The thickness depends on how much you put on I would recommend a thin layer, curing, then adding another layer to avoid the longer curing. There was a slight chemical smell at first but was gone in a second. I’m going to try to file/sand and see how it holds up. So far heat and water proof. I haven’t tested it in an oven or anything but it is impossible to get off once you put it on something and cure it. Be warned! I also got some isopropyl rubbing alcohol for clarity, it seems my project wasn’t entirely dry, as it stuck to my hands. It didn’t transfer resin to anything, it was just tacky. Stuck it under the light and wiped it with alcohol, which stabilized it.Extremely happy with this product, thank you!

I love this resin a lot. I’m write a honest review because when it comes to buying stuff like this people really like to read up on it before choosing their final choice. Like me I read and review sooooo many different brands before I buy. I read sooooo many before buying this brand because this was my very first time ever using UV resin. Really resin period. I used regular kind before in the past like once or twice. This brand here does the job! It hardens like it says for the most part. I found though with using this lamp that comes with it if you hear it for 2 min it comes out perfectly hard and not tacky. When I’d heat below 2 min it would have this tacky feel and leave prints or surges and become cloudy. Then I’d have to add more. It is thickish. Specially whe. You get to the bottom of the bottle. It becomes REALLY thick and you have to use more to get it spread out more evenly. And when your at the Hinton of the bottle you need to heat it for like 2min and 15/20 seconds. It’s like it takes longer to cure for whatever reason. It really doesn’t turn yellow after either. That I have seen. It is a pretty clear resin even after it’s cured. There was a few pieces that did darken some but not dramatically. I love how the resin brings out the sparkle, shine and shimmer of clays that have that. Also when you add glitter or shimmer it really brings out the shine. Over all it’s a great resin and it will be my go to when I try others and don’t like it. I did buy some new kind this round just to see how it does so I can find the perfect one for me. I posted a few photos of the resin used on my earrings. I also used one photo where there is white paint underneath. And the one with the star the yellow kinda dulled. Which was odd to me. So did the green. It didn’t really enhance the vibrant colors like they were. Oh note to add!! This gives very few to no bubbles. But if you do get bubbles just take a lighter and swirl over the top of them and they disappear. Or a heatgun will work too. Don’t let the clam touch it but just run it across the tips bout 1/2in-1in away. They will disappear when you do so.

I got this resin kit as a Black Friday deal and I have been SO impressed with how well this works on my painted rocks! Resin can be applied and spread with a brush or with a gloved finger. The provided flexible silicon (?) mat is great at keeping mess contained and is so easy to wash off with a little soap and water. Image shown is a rock with just ONE coat of the resin. I have resined about 20 rocks so far and only used about 1/2 of one bottle! Only con I have for all is that the provided UV light is not very strong - requiring that you leave the item under the light for a good bit of time more than what is specified in the instructions. The light is small, but can be turned on its side to allow for items which may be a little too big. Very impressed. Using the resin instead of the traditional spray sealers is going to be a game-changer for performance and cost savings! Highly pleased!

Not bad for off-brand UV Resin. Love that the kit comes with both bottles and the UV Light to get started with UV Resin. Bad smell but that is to be expected. Resin dries quickly within one or two cycles of light. Easy to use!

I have used this for years and this was a rebuy. If you use it for ornamental things that wont get wet or be in the sun for a long time it works really well. It can turn brown if used for jewelry that comes in contact with skin. I liked this option alot it came with more pieces than i usually buy so i would say it has good value. I personally dont notice the smell but my partner says it is pretty strong. Ive used it for everything from flowers, jewelry, bones, glitter. I find tiny gecko bones and put then in it to keep them from breaking. Its really versatile! Its quick to use like a minute or two for it to semi dry for the second layer.

Yes, to experiment with, as I am not experienced with any type of resin/epoxy. I expected it to have a stronger smell, I am pleased to say there is close to no smell at all. My biggest concern, though, is that it does not seem to Dry/harden as it says it should. I believe the light is to blame. It’s quite small, and built pretty cheap. After leaving my pieces outside in the sun for an hour or so, the epoxy seemed to harden just fine though.

Easy to use and durable I really recommend buy I went with this one because I’m a beginner and wanted a small bottle to see how I would do with it well I did great recommend 100% great quality and easy to use
