A River

Awesome picture book for early readers, the text is a bit small and hard to read though for a teaching book. Otherwise great book.

I found this book at a play place and fell in love with the beautiful illustrations. I am happy I purchased it for my toddler. While the story is simple enough it just shows how much little kids read the whole book and don't just listen to the words. My son notices all the little details in the illustrations and loves to use it to create his own stories. Every page is a work of art.

Beautiful illustrations and lovely story

The illustrations are so beautiful that I wish I could display them on my wall. My niece wasn't very interested in the storyline, but there is so much to talk about and look at on each page that we have spent a lot of time with this book.

A beautifully told story through pictures which really capture the imagination. I am a teacher and have used this book with children of all different ages, who see different things within the pictures. I have used it in drama for a soundscape story and also in English as a stimulus for narrative writing and settings.

A beautiful book - starting from the cover and going right through. Ideal for teaching ideas about our rivers.

This book is unlike anything I've ever seen. I cannot find words to describe how fascinating it is. The objects depicted in the first two pages are "hidden" in the following pages. The illustrations are marvelous, absolutely mesmerizing. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

The most beautifully illustrated book I’ve seen in a long time. Bought this as a present, but may have to get a copy for myself.
