Silicone Rescue Tape 3.55m White - The Ultimate Multi-Purpose Repair Tape

Had to replace the rubber cone connecting cistern to toilet pan, but was left with persistent leak between rubber and metal tube. Wrapped this around pipe and slid rubber back over - sealed the drip. Easy to wrap around until you get required thickness. Stretch as you go, following the instructions. Quite expensive but worth every penny to solve a problem and have plenty left for future emergencies. Recommended.

Had a new radiator fitted. Unfortunately due to the fact the pipework was previously damaged there was a persistent leak from the compression nut under the TRV. The plumber said it could be fixed but it meant removal of skirting etc. Decided to try another alternative to stop the weeping. I purchased lots of items from Screwfix however nothing worked. Tried this tape as a last resort and hey presto no leak. A word to the wise. Follow instructions provided. First time I applied the tape not much luck. Tried again stretching the tape as much as possible and wrapping really tightly. It works and no further work required.......hopefully it holds

Not just for fixing leaks, can be applied to tool handles to provide a non-slip grip and many other uses. I always keep a roll handy.
