Vitrex TAS100 Tile Adhesive Scraper

Easy to use grip handle, light weight and ideal tool for the job

Got rid of the tile adhesive. Needs a new blade now but did the job

The handle is more user friendly than some that I have purchased.Whilst the single blade was hard wearing it may be better if there was already some spare blades in the packet.

Whoever manufactures this needs to not tighten the blade locking screws so firmlyOne of them was so tight that the head got shredded when trying to unscrew itHad to then buy a special screw removal tool for my drill to take it outAfter finally doing this and then setting the blade in the correct position (why it doesn't come the right way around I don't know), the tool works well

Brilliant piece of kit. I used it to strip tile adhesive and Spanish plaster and it did a great job. However, I got through lots of blades - so order plenty !

I used it to scrape old adhesive off some files that had come loose and had to be reaffixed. I soaked them in a cement dissolver first. The tool was sharp enough to scrape it off.

Amazing the blade really helped me with removing stuck on underlay

Great item but just not sturdy enough. It has done everything I wanted it to do but after about an hour of use the handle cut through the rubber holder. Didn’t stop the use but maybe the design could be better.
