Does it leave a white residue the way a lot of gels do?

It’s never left a white residue on my hair but sometimes I think this happens depending on what cream or leave in you use before the gel.

Does this product contain glycerin, coconut or protein?

I’m pretty sure it doesn’t have these in. I use for the curly girl method and my hair loves it.

Does this product work on 4c hair??

I only have 2a/2b hair but i would think it would be the same for any type of curls. I can't say for sure though

Is this the old recipe version?

No, it's the new formula. In the old formula, Aloe and Jojoba were at the bottom of the ingredient list.
