I've had this thing since September 2023. It is fantastic, the only downside is the USB-C port does not have USB4 or any Thunderbolt specifications. This is generally fine, and other consumers won't run into issues unless you use it for work and they have Thunderbolt docks, etc. However, basic hubs work just fine. Just make sure the hub is 10 Gbps or rated for USB 3.2.

I originally ordered one of these laptops and had it for a couple of days before it wouldn’t turn back on. I sent it back and the return process was pretty easy. I have had the new one for a few months and seems to be working.

TL:DR this laptop will refuse to turn on after less than a month of intense usage such as watching cat videos on YouTube. I purchased this laptop in August 2024 to replace a 5 year old HP laptop that died. In late September 2024, this laptop suddenly refused to charge and would not turn on even when plugged in. HP took 4 weeks to complete a warranty repair. I received the laptop back just before Halloween. On December 6, 2024, the now "repaired" laptop, suddenly stopped charging and refused to turn on. HP now says they are going to charge me to repair the computer because "it was upgraded by the reseller." The reseller is, of course, The HP Store. Amazon offered me a refund minus a $99 restocking fee, which I accepted as I will never purchase or use another HP product. The laptop also came loaded to the gunwale with junk software. Which I got to delete twice, bc HP reinstalled all of it after the repair. And now we have passive aggressive FAQs: So is it a good value? No, it's a paper weight. What's the storage capacity? I don't know, it won't turn on. Is it touch screen? You can touch the screen, but it won't do anything, since it won't turn on. What's the sound quality? Silence.

Excellent work equipment for your office, I use it for my work from home, I have had it for a long time and it works super well for me.
