Does the job!
Not the greatest of tools but it did job nicely. It's cheap, it's sturdy, could get into the groove a little better but it still came up with a nice finish. If you're looking for personal use them i would definitely recommend, wouldn't be so quick to recommend for professional use though.

Handy little trowel.
Handy little trowel, used it to point the stone flags. 👍

very good product
needed a quick replacement for a broken 10mm marshall pointing trowel. this came the next day and does the job very well. after a little rub down it gives a good finish does not drag holds the pointing mix very well. i would recommend

does what it said on the tin
pointed the patio a treat

Relatively weak blade on this one
Some of these tools have a bevelled front edge for strength and a flat back for smoothing the mortar. This one has a flat blade both sides and it bends a bit when in use. Okay for diy use (and for the price) but I wouldn’t trust it for professional builders.
User
Good enough
Only giving a four as the tool was too narrow for what I. Needed and I feel the web description could have made things a bit clearer. Looks well made and durable.
User
Good quality at a low price
Purchased to carry out repairs to my patio. It made filing the pointing between slabs easier than using a trowel. This is probable not the quality a professional would use every day, but for DIY, you wont buy better.

Typical Amtec product. Fit for purpose, but not a premium item.
This is just what it should be. A cheap tuck pointer. Ideal for narrow mortar joints, cheap enough to be disposable. Only issue was it took a long time to arrive. Prior to paying for it, the delivery time was counted in days. Once I’d committed, it was more than 6 months, though it actually arrived far sooner than that. Still too late for what I wanted it for, however.
