These come alive with a reasonably good headphone amp 5 stars Without an amp they are just ok.
If you are using these to listen to music make certain you have a decent headphone amp …this is where they come alive. Also, plan on boosting the bass a bit and tame the treble with EQ. With an amp they are probably among the best in their price range. Great sound stage and clarity. 5 stars in their price range if you have an amp. Without amp they can be a bit thin depending on the sound source, just ok. Just plan on having a decent headphone amp if you purchase these and your ears will thank you. Also, plan on some burn in time. Update: iPad and phone without headphone amp don’t drive these with the proper amount of power. However, plugging these into a relatively new MacBook Pro do drive these wonderfully (bringing great detail) without added headphone amp. Currently my favorite IEM’s.

These are fantastic!
I have only owned a few items, but I have bought and tried many. I got the KZ ZEX, Kinera BD005pro, the old monster copper's and klipsch R6's. Also the original tin hifi p1s. I also have hifiman sundaras and Beyer dynamics. So I got these in a whim as I was liking the KZs, but like most items there is just certain frequencies I cannot eq out and that hurt my ears and get fatiguing after awhile no matter how much eq I use.Right off the bat I can tell you these had the full spectrum of sound and I did not have to touch the eq! Not only was it the full spectrum but none of that fatiguing harshness or piercing frequencies I commonly hear and have to try and eq away. These sounded amazing flat and I have been rocking out to music I don't normally listen to like ALOT of pink Floyd and Fleetwood Mac. So I am simply running my cell phone to the FIIO BTR-7. I have tried both Bluetooth and USB using qobuz, but I am limited to 96/24. Switching to usbapp I can get the full 192/32 wired. Any of them simply sound fantastic I have the volumes all the way up and it's simply distortion free and plenty of volume. I did order a wired cable for the balanced 4.4mm output but right now the 3.5 unbalanced sounds incredible. I won't comment on the rest of the kit and accessories but I does have a very nice metal box but I'm not using anything else as I already had eartips I wanted to use. On a whim I did order the big brother to these just to see if there could possibly be any improvements but right now I'm hearing things and details I definitely never heard before especially on pink Floyd's pigs tracks. The bass is there, thigh highs are there and everything in between sounds amazing. Highly recommend these and skip the cheap stuff.

Great sound, packaging, and accessories
This review is for the ASONE Crystal model. Note that the cheapest Black model is actually Bmaster and is not a planar IEM. ASONE or AS ONE is slightly bigger than I expected but still light and sits well in my ears. Tuning is excellent. There is no frequency response graph available. BASN is headquartered in California and so their IEMs are not getting attention in the rest of the world. A lot of reviewers that measure FR are in Europe and Asia. Hopefully, someone will take a reading of this model in the US eventually.Sound stage is decent. Imaging and instrument separation are excellent. Non fatiguing sound. Much prefer these over other planars S12/S12 Pro, Zetian Wu, Timeless. I like sound of Hook-X more but they have metal shells and I prefer plastic/resin for comfort. The included cable is good. The additional cable with mic and remote is not. Original ear tips work well. The carrying hard case is, although large, a piece of art by itself. Love it.For the crystal model. the 6th image at the top of the page it weird. The guy on it is not a musician - he's holding the instrument upside-down. Look at the neck between his hands. The high gauge strings are at the bottom.

Best bang for you buck.
The media could not be loaded. For what you get for its cost and how it sounds.... I DARE you to find something better.
