The product came in time and whe fitting it in the bottle, it was perfect! I would recommend it.

This cap is not for the bottle type being depicted in the images. It does not hold tight enough to seal. It is only for the bottles that have the thicker necks and accommodate these kinds of caps. It was a waste of money & is a total misrepresentation.

I started making hard cider with a neighbor that had the fruit. I found some lever top bottles with no closures and used these to allow me to use those bottles. The wires fit fine but I worry that the seal is not going to be tight enough but other than that I am very happy.

The bottle caps worked as described.

This entire page is deceptive and should be removed by Amazon. These caps are just fine, but they're designed specifically and ONLY to seal Grolsch bottles. Grolsch bottles have two opposing drilled neck holes into which you slide the clips on these caps. Without such holes, the wire assemblies of these caps have nothing to hold onto and the whole mechanism doesn't work. All the photos here showing supposedly sealed bottles are especially absurd because they show the round arc-shaped wire pointing toward the top of the bottle, when in fact on a Grolsch bottle you lock the cap by flipping this wire toward the bottom of the bottle. There is no way that you can lock these things onto any ordinary wine or beer bottle. This whole depiction here is a sham. That said, it is quite amazing that NOBODY seems to make a locking cap for beer bottles, pop bottles and large (1.5L) wine bottles, which have wider mouths than standard 750ml wine and champagne bottles.
