Working well so far! Squealed like a mad pig at startup but after a couple seconds it ran fine.
I bought this pump to replace the one on my furnace and initially it didn't run when I filled the reservoir with water to test. After removing the cover and wiggling the float, it squealed like a mad pig and finally settled down to a nice quiet run volume. It pumps water up the 7' to the basement ceiling and across the room to the drain about 15 feet away with no trouble. In fact, I think it's a little quieter than the stock pump. It's been running quietly and trouble free for about 10 days.

super quiet/awesome but clogs too easily.
I added this to an older portable AC/heat pump because i didn’t want to drill a hole through my floor for continuous drain. I really like the performance but the pump stopped siphoning within 1 day and water overflowed out of the reservoir vent tube all over the floor. I contacted Aquastrong and they were awesome. they sent me a new one after providing evidence of the failure. My new one had the same issue so then i wondered if it was getting clogged. I had seen some debris (dust that washes off the evap to the drain pan). I’m an electronic tech & product designer for automotive electronics so i opened the pump and yep it was clogged. The siphoning holes in the pump are smaller than the filter screen in the reservoir so it takes very little to clog it. the easiest solution would be to have a finer mesh filter screen which i may try to create myself. also there should be a float/flapper that closes the vent tube if the pump fails and water wants to build. wiring to float switch to shut off the AC is the solution by its quite difficult for this portable unit. Maybe I’ll wire it to a short extension cable or something as a fail safe. So, make sure your unit is SUPER clean or figure out some intermediate filter solution. I would buy again if a better design isn’t available within $10 of this price. It’s far less expensive than most and others in this price range seem to be the same pump in a different color housing.

Large but quiet
This pump is very quiet. I was impressed and I'm not a fan of pumps for mini splits. The pump body is a bit larger than some. It works for 120 or 230 volt.

Very Quiet and so fart so good. It's doing the job.
I have a GE window AC unit that sits on the window sill like a saddle and has in internal condensate pump to remove water to the outside. That pump, one day, began making an awful and loud noise because the suction line got plugged up. It's so bad it had me thinking the unit had failed and the compressor had failed or something. Turned out the suction line was plugged up or nearly so causing the pump to overwork and make a loud noise. After opening the unit up my son and I were unable to find and clear the obstruction. I wound up opening the drain cap on the side of the unit and put a five gallon bucket under it but this bucket fill up every two days and has to be emptied. I began looking for a solution and found this AquaStrong pump.I used garden hose fittings as you can see in the photo to adapt the pump to the AC unit. The pump itself is connected to the lower hose elbow with a 5/8" female hose repair fitting using about half of the gray tube piece that came with the pump. I still have the bucket under it just in case. The AquaStrong has it's own separate reservoir with a level switch in it to run the pump that you can see poking out below the AC unit. I used two right angle hose elbows and a female hose end repair to connect the pump. I haven't tidied up the wiring yet. Giving it a chance to prove itself right now. It's been operating about a week now. The pump is mounted to the side of the AC with a Velcro strip which came with the pump. The pump runs about once every five or six minutes. There is an auxiliary contact which can be used with an external contractor to kill power to the AC so that the tiny reservoir does not overflow. I still have my bucket there just in case. The right angle hose fittings will allow me to swing the mini reservoir back under the AC unit completely out of sight. The pump discharges the water to the outside through a 3/8" hole I drilled through the insulation board around the AC unit.As I said the pump is very quiet. The only time I really noticed it running was the first time because it had to self prime to clear the air out of the suction tube. After that I've only heard it very infrequently and it was all but inaudible.Overall I'm satisfied with my purchase. I'll tidy up the wiring better after it has been in services for a while.

Life-Changing...NOT
Some of the reviews on this device made me skeptical at first but it was the best I could find. Now let me tell you, my portable AC has been a thorn in my side with how much water it produces as a byproduct. I was always having to drain it multiple times a day and the unit would spill water everywhere and all over the carpet. After finding this pump, it does all of that nonsense for me and it does not leak. It takes the condensation directly from the unit and pumps it outside. The pump is very small and it is silent. I am very very impressed. Everyone should get their hands on one of these during this summer heat. We will see how it is on longevity but for now, it is extremely worth it and I highly recommend it.Update: The pump continuously fails after about 3 weeks. Stay clear of this junk pump which is unreliable. Go for a little giant instead.
