These are really nice, especially for the price. It damped the sound and made the keystroke feel significantly better. I stacked mine - 3 to a stem, and I noticed the difference with each ring I added. I ended up not getting enough, and both orders got to me within 1 day. Advice to get them on if you're struggling: open the package and put the rings in the box. Get the needle-nose tweezers (esp. if they curve) and use that to stretch the ring and put it on the stem. The curved tweezers let you push it further down on the stim without ruining them.

Got these to o ring some of my keychron boards. O rings and perfectly sized, and I ran into zero defects, no deformed ones or fused together ones etc. Perfect product.

They make a pretty minimal difference in type sound and feel, but they work as pretty good stoppers to stuff any dampening material into the bottom side of keycaps. After trying out just the o-rings themselves, I ended up poking a hole in little squares of PE foam, poking the stem of keycaps through them, and stoppering them with the orings. This elevates the carcass by a tiny bit, but made my cheap keyboard sound significantly less rattly. Don't expect this to make any change to your board. It takes additional work.

These o-rings give the keys that you press a softer touch to them. You are left with the sound and feel of the switch with less of the keycap slam as the switch bottoms out. This leaves the keyboard to feel less vibrationally intense on the fingers, which in turn feel nicer when typing up essays or documents. The sound difference is very minor, but it is audible. The o-rings make it feel more muffled and more like a "thump" than the regular "tock." It's like there is a lower tone to the same bottoming out, and thus ends up being less audible. For the cheap price it offers and ability for you to put it on more than 1 keyboard, or more than 1 o ring per keycap, it's a good nice to have that I would definitely recommend trying out if you sit in front of a keyboard a lot. The features aren't many, but they're subtle and appreciated once you have them. (note they only work on (+) style keycaps. membrane, or logitech's romer-g switches will not work.)

There's not much to write about on these little upgrades. They're very inexpensive and can definitely diminish the sound created by mechanical keys bottoming out. They will NOT remove the clicking in the switch itself. They also do not change the travel of the key, which I have noticed as a comment in other reviews (not necessarily on this item). They raise the key higher than it was initially set on the switch, but do not affect the travel of the switch. It may feel different (totally does), but this isn't a lack of functionality, but a difference in memory. They do let light through without any problem and were very easy to put on with just a quick push. Personally, I moved fastest through the keys by seating them on the keycap stem, then using the force of press getting the key back on the switch to push it into place. No issues at all. Definitely quieter overall.. but not so quiet you can't tell it's a mechanical keyboard.

Really truly helped my keyboard sound better, prevented keycaps from sticking as they were the wrong size and made it feel and sound much better. Would recommend to anyone whose keycaps it would fit. Dont know if the video sound worked but the home key does not have them and the others do and they sound worlds better.

I use it on a Cherry switches mechanical keyboard with RGB. + enough rings for any keyboard + Translucent to not lower RGB lighting + KB is now quieter + Softer bottom-out bumps + no interference with KB mechanics on the switch Possible improvement: Add a mounting pipe and removal pick for the rings for common switches. Not having that is not a negative point: It was not promised and it is only a quality-of-use improvement, but it is not "needed" - so, I'm not counting off for not having that. ;-)

Didn't dampen the sound on my keyboard, may just be the way the keyboard is built. Good quality for the price tho.

If you buy these O-rings to cut down the noise of your Keycaps, thwy do not seem to really work. I fitted them onto my Fnatic Ministreak with Cherry Silent Red switches. Went from fitting 1 to 3 to test the effect. Sound was not really impacted, but with 2 or more o-rings fitted, I started missing keystrokes. Eventually removed all of them.

Love this makes my keyboard a bit more quiet and it’s very cheap. The shipping was just a day. It came with a nice box you can keep the rest in or maybe if you’ve finished them to use for something else. Amazing though my parents don’t hear my keyboard anymore and can finally sleep peacefully!
