Don't buy if returned
Don't buy. Go direct and don't buy if its been returned. I now have burnt blisters as its faulty. Obviously there has not been a pat or safely check done on this item. Absolutely shocked

Easy to use and very effective.
This is a nifty, easy to use and really helpful piece of kit for helping to heal pain and wounds. Of course the idea is not new. Infra red lights have been used for decades for wound healing - and they were, and are, MASSIVELY cheaper than these new-fangled LED versions. The difference is that you have a specified range of wavelengths (not just one) for depth of efficacy - and they can be used close to or on the skin and placed exactly where you want them. But LEDs are not expensive to produce (especially in China), yet all the new red light tech costs an arm and a leg. This is one of the cheaper ones and it still cost nearly £100. Hence the missing star.

Failing stitching
The device appears to work, but after two days’ use, the Velcro is unstitched and will render it useless after a few more uses. There doesn’t seem to be any way to contact the seller to ask for a replacement Velcro strap or contact Amazon to discuss it with. Can anyone suggest anything?

Works well
I bought for sciatic pain, using the belt 2 x a day seems to have helped the pain go away over the past 2-3 days

Went faulty
This RLT belt became faulty within a couple of weeks. It doesn't feel well made in my opinion.

Fab for pain and nice heat therapy, too
The media could not be loaded. Great tool.Thick velcro strap belt is free and can be attached to the main rectangle (the one emanating heat and light) easily and since it’s Velcro it can go many ways over the various body parts. I first thought it would be better if it was attached but then it gives it more variability when it is in two pieces.I tried abdomen (period pain), back, knee, back - kidneys/liver, and when I was cold (broken heating issue).I think it’s a handy thing to have.I am slim (64cm/25inches waist) and not sure how well the strap would fit around someone with way bigger waist line. And I am tall (174cm) and still the rectangle seemed to cover good portion of my lower back.Level 5 on ‘ALL’ lights creates really pleasant heat (I was actually surprised how hot it gets, I didn’t expect the heat effect to be so strong) and yes you could probably get similar warmth effect by laying on hot water bottle (but that doesn’t give off the infra red and red light) and also isn’t as safe, neither it would cover such a big portion of the back)And it’s actually nice to use for meditation because of the heat and somewhat firming/supporting effect it gives to the back/core.I currently don’t have any major pains, but I believe in hot/cold therapy and also hot/cold water therapy so the red light therapy is just an extension of that.I used some 20 years ago red light in the beauty salon (before everything more new and fancier took over) and it was helping to get the nutrients into the skin. Red light affects more the skin on superficial level and helps with the collagen production. Infra red goes deeper into the muscles. You can switch between using red or infrared or both. I use both. There is also a timer up to 30mins.Things I am not too keen on:I would appreciate if there was more thorough info included with all the possible uses and options of use. (I am currently trying to figure out how and if I could possibly use this on my skin over my face/decolettage with red light). And I was a little disappointed to be shown in the manual’s diagram that I could use the power unit (so I wouldn’t have to be strapped to the mains) but that is sadly not included.Otherwise happy with the product.
