Alb Aluminium Camping Cook Set/Mess Tins - 3 Pieces

Just what i was after i was first looking at the Czech military ones but theses look better and i love the Czech republic so to have these with Czech republic written on them is pretty awesome cheers!

All of my previous mess tins have only ever lasted a year or so at best with just occasional use due to the poor quality aluminium so when I brought these I was already impressed that there is a 2 year warranty!They arrived quickly and we'll packaged with the tins nested inside each other. The large tin can hold 1.25 ltrs, the smaller tin can hold 0.85 ltrs and the base plate can hold 0.3 ltrs. This set is perfect for a couple camping as you can cook your beans and soups with ease and then use them for bowls and a plate.There is a warning not to use these with acidic foods as this can wear away at the aluminium and contaminate the food but this is not an issue for me as I try to avoid acidic foods.My pros for this set are:They are compact and fold in on to each other so it takes up very little space.They are hard wearing- being compact they don't dent or flex.They serve more than one purpose as you can cook and eat from them, saving on the washing up!The two year warranty means you have a nice security knowing that if they fail to perform or if they break you can easily contact the supplier and have them replaced.The only thing I wish they did cone with is a plastic handle or cover for the tins as when you use them to heat your food, the metal handles also heat up and can become too hot to handle but this is easily sorted by using a cloth or glove to lift and replace the pans.I have used these a couple of times this weekend and so far they are the best I have ever used so I would highly recommend them!Please note I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for an honest review.

I decided to buy this product as my kitchen is quite small so wanted something compact and this was just the right size.This is a multipurpose product; it can be used for cooking at home or cooking while camping. It is great value for money. It is small enough to fit in backpack.This is a perfect product for a small family. It’s very compact and doesn’t take much space due to its amazing design. It has lovely shiny aluminium finish which makes it look stylish. It comes with two years warranty which is always great to have incase something goes wrong. All pots can be stacked over each other while cooking for maximum heat.The size of the pots is decent, not too big nor small just perfect. Large pot can hold 1.25L, small pot can hold 0.85 and lid can hold 0.30. When stacked over each other, the dimensions are height110mm and weight 450g. This ALB Aluminium Camping Cook Set reminded me of my youthful camping exploits. I plan to renew this experience as a day-tripper in the forest. This set of two pans and a pan lid that doubles up as a bowl/plate is ideal for my needs. I need a lightweight pan set, which is what these ALB aluminium ones are perfect for the task.
