Winsor & Newton WN Galleria Iridescent Medium, ACFGIM250, 250ml

I love this product, it gives my art a pretty glow when I use it. I've read other reviews that say its thick and gloopy, and yes, it does indeed seem a bit thick but its easy enough to stick a knife or brush in the pot to lift some out....better that than it being thin and runny and spilling everywhere. I will definitely buy this again.

I love the medium, I hate the packaging ! This is a very thick paste and trying to squeeze it out of the jar is ok to start with when full, but as it becomes emptier trying to squeeze a very thick paste to the top of the jar and then actually get it out is a bit of a nightmare. The paste is so thick that turning it upside down doesn't move it even a millimetre. Taking the cap off to get at it just eventually results in a cap that is firmly stuck to the jar, however well you think you have removed any residue and the hexagonal top with its angular corners can be quite painful to try and move. However, the product itself is wonderful, I love it ! You can mix it with acrylic paint before painting, to make single or multiple colours pearlescent. You can use it on top of paintings - either all over or in certain areas. You can dilute it to create a wash.....it has lots of possibilities.. it IS very versatile and I'll buy it again DESPITE the packaging

Adds a beautiful silvery sheen. I mixed mine with a bit of water and acrylic so it wasn't as silver as I used it as a top coat. It is pretty thick but easy to loosen with water or acrylic paint.

I don't know if the bottle I got is out of date or what but this is not iridescent. I have tried everything but it does nothing to the paint.

The trial works well. I just need more time to get back into more full time painting with this product.

It gives a beautiful lustre. A little goes a long way. Very thick, mixes well on its own and with other paints. Ive you different mediumss and im pleased with results
