I started taking this product when suddenly i developed digestion problems...it seemed everything i ate caused me to bloat, have terrible tummy upsets etc. I became a maniac researcher on the internet wondering what on earth had happened to my "i can eat anything" life...at the end of my tether and having tried all sorts of products i finally tried this and WOW....it worked!. I also take another product called Pancreatin (quadruple strength from solgar...this helps in aiding to digest any sort of protein like meat, chicken fish etc) and another called Lactaid (this helps in digesting any dairy ....just in case i'm out and i want to have a cuppacino etc) Here's what i do...whenever i eat any type of vegetables or fruit i take the digest gold about 2 tabs...religiously no matter what just before i eat. If i am going to eat any sort of protein (ie meats)..as well i take Pancreatin as well i just combine all the capsules and swallow all together. Also just in case i bought some lactaid to take if i have dairy. Ys ok ...at first it a pain but the payoff is incredible...i can eat anything and still have a flat stomach and my digestion works as well as it did back in my 20's. It seems that as we age our bodies produce less of the enzymes to break down food so we need help digesting food. These are all harmless over the counter products and will not harm u at all. I shudder to think that if i was just lazy and would have gone to a doctor..they probably would have me on all sorts of medications not to mention the tests!..I take these just before eating or after and as many times as u eat per day! Aso i find that after about 2 months i can stop taking all together for about 3 months but then soon after this i need to take them again. All i know is that i found away to live healthily and comfortable for the rest of my life just taking these products that actually help in providing the enzymes my body is struggling to produce (aging body...unfortunately this is part of life). If you are at the end of your tether please try my remedy...u never know it could work for u. I bought all these products from amazon . so remember Digest Gold, and Pancreatin (for protein ie chicken, meat etc) and lactaid for dairy products. Digest Gold does contain all of these put together and probably would work fine but after what i had been through (the terrible bloating etc),absolute misery..i didnt want to take any chances. Sometimes i just take the Digest Gold (i put some tabs in a pill container and carry them in my bag everywhere) and just pop some before i have any sort of meal. If all u want to do is Digest Gold cause it seems easier they still work wonders..i promise u they will probably work. They have all the enzymes to break down all sorts of foods...meats, vegetables,dairy, carbs....then just take these. The only reason i take the others is that buy themselves they have a high concentration than combined in the Digest Gold. I have gone on holiday and all i had was my Digest Gold and they worked fine on their own...just take more at once before a meal if u are still having a few digestion issues they wont harm u just help u.....Good Luck!

I am generally pretty skeptical and negative about any kind of consumer products. Rarely do I find something which helps me so much and in such an important way that I would be moved to speak publicly for it. This is one of those times. I'm not saying this product is somehow necessarily better than other brands of the same enzymes, just that these enzymes really helped me. It may be that unless you have almost exactly the same gastro-intestinal issues that I do, this won't help you. I don't know. For *me*, it really changed my life.I think I probably have pancreatic insufficiency, meaning that my pancreas is not making enough of the right kind of digestive enzymes for me. Food goes through undigested. This is very very uncomfortable, verging on debilitating. I was becoming a bit afraid to do things outdoors, I had little energy, and I almost always felt dragged out and just kind of bad.Within a few days of beginning to take a high-enough amount of these enzymes, it was like I was *CURED*. I couldn't believe it. I have tried stopping and starting enough times to know for sure that I am ok with the enzymes and sick without them.It was frustrating because I had been to several doctors who ordered lots of expensive tests and tried me out on several side-effect-inducing medications and none of it helped or illuminated anything. Then in a few days, I'm cured, just like that. It changed my whole attitude about life: Maybe I didn't have to be generally unhappy. Maybe I wasn't too old to do anything worth doing anymore. A few months later I felt inspired to finally lose some weight and exercise.Now it is 5 years later and I am still healthy and comfortable. I take *THREE* of these with every meal. I have never been able to discern any kind of negative side-effect from them. If you have trouble digesting things like eggs, I've found these really help. The bottle says that each serving can help you digest 34g of fat, 16 g of protein, and 86 g of carbs. I don't know about all that, but I can tell you that I've found these to be very effective in helping me digest things that sometimes give me trouble. The capsules are clear gelatin and are easy to swallow. I've ordered and used these for about three years now, and I'm never without them!

I cannot digest the milk protein, Casein/Lactic Acid. Unfortunately, it's in many foods and beverages but not on the label. I carry these enzymes with me wherever I go and cannot be without them. I will continue to buy from this seller as their price is the best I've found. Thanks so much for this product!!!

NOT MEDICAL ADVICE, MY OWN PERSONAL EXPERIENCE: This contributes to my huge overall of my digestive and overall health. Even with regular fasting and eating whole, clean food, bloating remains a slight issue, but when I take these with meals that is markedly reduced. I won't be without them despite the rather high price tag.
