New BalanceMen's 577 V1 Hook and Loop Walking Shoe

These shoes were purchased for my husband, who is diabetic and has neuropathy in his feet. They offer very good support, and are very comfortable for wearing all day long. The ease of fastening is an additionalwelcome feature. The color is a noce alternative to white or black, and goes well with all casual clothing.

My husband likes these Velcro shoes and gets a new pair every couple of years. This time, I guess the maker was trying to save some money on the design because the straps are about 1-2 inches shorter than his other pairs were! It still works but just looks funny. Still a good shoe for him. Very stable.

Would have liked to have the top strap a little longer

The upper velcro strap is too short, making it difficult to keep the shoe on when walking fast. It should be 9.5 or 10 inches long.

I like that the shoes are wider at thefront as I have double extra wide feet. This is the way all shoes should be.

I needed these for work. I've bought several pairs. The velcro saves time. No shoestrings to tie or trip over. And personally I think since velcro is adjustable somewhat the fit is good.

Seem to be good for walking , lots of room

I've been using the shoe type for years. It's nice to be able to order from Amazon.

My husband had a pair of those before. I looked everywhere to find him a second pair and finally got them from Amazon! They are made of a good quality material and comfortable .The only thing I must say I don’t like about them is that the velcro straps are not very long and therefore a bit hard to shut for someone who has swollen feet.

The shoes met up to my expectations and are perfect for walking on rough terrain.

Purchased a pair, same size same type 4 years ago and they are still in use!! Unfortunately this pair just received fits differently thus had to return them. Was totally pleased with my purchase 4 years ago and would recommend these runners.

I had high hopes for these shoes having bought trainers in the States that lasted me 15 years. However these do not have a very soft inner sole which makes the shoe quite stiff. Not as comfortable as my foot joy golf shoes. The heel support is good but if you have a broad foot you would need a wide fitting as the instep is tight on the standard fitting. They are a light shoe. I am still running them in and I hope the leather gets more supple and moulds to my feet. At present they cause my feet to be hot and a bit sore.They are probably the most uncomfortable shoe I have bought and have caused me pain in both of my feet. If I had not tried to wear them in I would want a refund.
