This product is of good quality, and makes drilling holes for hinges much easier. No more guess work as to where the center of the hole is. Furthermore, the guide will keep the drill centered, even if the bit hits some harder material. Just make sure to push the guide back and clean the material out of the drill bit after each hinge.

Bit pulled out on first use then the set screw broke on tightening it up. Other wise they work okay.

These vix bits are numbered 6 thru 12.. Number 12 is NOT actual #12 bit. If you are looking for #12 vix bit you have to spend $30 to $35. #12 is a commercial door hinge bit and in this set you do not get that.

I never thought I needed this product, but after I was helping a friend install hinges on a door and 35 years of eye balling a drill bit. I find this product to actually save time on the job. Don't know why I waited so long.I diffently recommend this product.

the allen head screws were poorly formed and no allen wrench, metric or english, would fit snugly. it was also poorly machined.

THIS IS JUNK! The hex screws used to tighten the bits in the centering tool either stripped or split with the slightest hand pressure. This prevents the drill bit from locking in the centering tool.

Does just what it says on the packaging. Ideal and I have used them many times
