Looks used
Need for traveling, received package, box locked like it was already opened. Removed all contents, opened up Thermos and it was full of liquid, the bio gel pack lid was loose and not sealed. Contacted Tilcare by email, never got a response back. Was concerned if this bio gel was hazardous or not.Cooler looks nice, little larger than I thought. Haven't used it yet, waiting on a response from the manufacturer on this bio gel pack. If I ever get this issue resolved and actually get to use it I'll give a review on how well it actually works. Until then I give it a 1 star because it appears used. And Amazon took 3 weeks to deliver it Prime.

Worked better than expected!
Bought a few weeks ahead of needing it to test it out. Placed gel pack into freezer overnight. Placed in container with a couple regular pen and checked it for the next couple of days. It was still cold 48 hours later. Left it in another 12 hours and it was still cold. I then traveled with 4 injections to England for a long weekend from the midwest. Then train to Scotland and then to Ireland for a total of 4 weeks. There was one night when I didn't have anywhere to put the pack or my shots. I wasn't worried. They stayed cold in the container in the drink pocket on my backpack until the next evening when we arrived in a B&B where I could freeze the pack and refrigerate my shots. Unfortunately my shots have been updated to the larger size for my upcoming trip back to Ireland, this time for 7 weeks. I would only be able to fit 1 of the very large pens into this item. I would spend the money for a much larger item to use the same product. DEVINITELY recommend!

Cannot fit a small vial inside
The capacity is limited due to how much it narrows at the neck. Think it would be better if it were a bit wider & shorter. I could not fit a single vial in the mouth of the tube while the ice pack was in because of the large cap blocking the neck of the bottle. The only way a vial fit was putting the med in first then dropping the ice pack in after it which is inconvenient. Then I’d need to take the ice pack out first every time I needed to access it.It’s not easy to organize items inside due to the narrow opening - could only gently drop items in and shake them back out. It seemed to keep cold well but I found the vial rattling around as I tried to take out the ice pack unnerving. Ultimately I decided to just use it to hold my empty syringes (it fit 10 without the freeze pack) and opted to put the med in a more accessible cooler. I’d invest in something similar but bigger, this version isn’t worth the weight / space it occupies for how little it can carry.

It works really well for me.
I bought it for weekend trips and it will keep my insulin cold just like ad says if you follow instructions.
