Very nice clipper for dogs with thick coats, removes mats too
I have two Old English Sheepdogs that sometimes get matted. We do a shorter cut in summer. This did the trick. My other two buzzers finally died, done dealing with them. The cord is nice and long and the design is easier to clean and maintain, than working with parts that are little and go back together like a puzzle. There is a lot of vibration in the clipper, so be prepared for that but once we got going, it was so insanely fast to clip two 100lb dogs head to toe using a guard blade (leaves a length of hair behind). I like the on and off button too as with others I've had the switch was accidentally bumped all the time.

Best Clipper Unit EVER!!! So worth the price!!!!
I have a shepherd in the high desert, so I keep her shaved so she doesn't get overheated. I've gone through 3 different Oster clippers and thought that was just as good as it would get. But then I found the Andis clippers with a 10 ceramic blade (or whatever they are called) and it was like cutting through butter. It was so good that I got too close in a couple of spots and decided I need the a comb set to keep from shaving layers of skin. The comb set paired with the Andis 5 speed clipper unit - which is pricey, but I bought 3 Osters so really it was less than all 3 combined - is my go to now. I love it and my dog is supper happy and cool. I shave her regularly but I posted a before and after photo.

Very pleased customer
This clipper was well worth the money. I haven’t used any other speed but low as of yet as I’m new to grooming. I’ve done 2 dogs now and love how easy the clippers are to handle and use. I would highly recommend getting another 10 blade as it does get very hot quickly and you will need to take breaks for it to cool. I was told a trick of setting the blade on ice but I haven’t tried it yet. I was a bit worried about some of the reviews saying their Serial Number was scratched in but mine is not and seems very legit. I ordered normal packaging but it was not hard to open the box at all. Not sure what the difference is suppose to be. Mine had the cardboard insert too but I didn’t find that alarming as everything fits in its place. I would definitely buy these again as long as they keep working for many more grooming sessions. I bought the Wahl guard set to use with this and it fits perfectly. I also got extra oil and keep it oiled and clean after use. Very pleased!

Over 3 years old and still running strong
Bought this clipper three years ago. It got great reviews at the time on Amazon and most were from Professional groomers. I am a self taught "groomer" to my own two dogs and I do a few friends dogs once in a while to for free. Especially if they are rescues, or for people who are tight on money sometimes. i like to help when and where I can in life. Anyway, I am not a professional groomer, but I have come a long way and am not half bad actually. I purchased a lot of the blades sizes ( titanium) mostly and I have to say that it is like taking care of a car. If you take care of it, keep it clean, oiled and same with blades, you will get good dependable use out of it. I may upgrade to a cordless clipper now tho, just for the convenience, not because the clipper is not working good. I do have to say the cord on the clipper is a good size and allowed me to go around my whole grooming table once without needing more space or getting tangled. The sound is not too loud - but when you put it up high it is most loudest...still not terrible but you can hear it. All and all it is a great item.

Easy to use, lightweight
I've been grooming proffectionally for a couple of years and have used a couple different clippers and these are by far my favorite they are lighter than my old ones they work fantastically and ofcourse the color is just a fantastic added bonus

Not Great for Beginning Groomers
I am a new groomer, and wouldn't recommend these for other new groomers. The blades get really hot (I burned myself trying to take out a #30 that was under a guard comb), really quickly. The cord also goes out quickly, and including labor it is about $60 to replace it. The groomers I work with who use the same clippers say they usually replace their cord once a year. However several of the experienced groomers I work with use these and love them.I got the burgundy and the color is really nice.

professional clippers for a busy groomer
Loves these so far, power switch is on the side along with the adjustable speed. old Clippers had the power switch on top and constantly wood get shifted into the opposition when I changed my hand position these I don't have to worry about that, cord is super long. my old Clippers were also Andes and Driver lever matches so didn't have to go replace or buy any new drivers. a groom over 13 dogs a day and they hold up all day. quiet and housing does not get hot. great price too

Excellent Clipper
We have a large 100lb. Golden Retriever, she has the thickest coat of any dog we have ever owned. She lives indoors, however, she sheds like crazy. The only way to mitigate the constant hair dropping all over our house is to assist the natural process of shedding by cutting her hair. These clippers were fantastic, we were able to get her hair cut to a manageable length. The shedding continues but in a shorter length and much less to clean up.
