Nuptse and Lhotse Go to Iceland (Nuptse and Lhotse Adventures)

The illustrations are awesome! I loved this and my friends nine year olds loved it. They wanted to learn a little about Iceland. The names are hard to pronounce but we all three loved it.

This was the perfect pretrip purchase for our 3 and 5 yr olds. They loved the story and it provided the perfect amount of information about the new things they would see and do in Iceland. Seeing geysers, volcanic rock, Icelandic horses, etc was all that more exciting because it was "like Nuptse and Lhotse". They are still asking to read the story now that the trip is over.

Despite the lack of my ability to pronounce some of the Icelandic names this is a great little story. We bought this for my 4yo as a precursor to our trip to Iceland so he could understand a bit about the country and what we would see. It playfully takes you on a tour of the island nation and introduces you to some key players in their ecology. It's great and we have been asked to read it every night. Now he'll just listen to us read a different book while looking at all the pictures. So fun!

This book is so much fun. I recently went to Iceland & wanted to give my two year old niece something to help her picture my journey.

Grandsons 3 & 5 yrs loved the book, asking to have it read over and over. Exceptional illustrations. A trip around the country learning about wildlife, geography, landscape, folk tales. Highly recommended. We also gave them a world map to put on the wall.

Our two year old grandson will travel to Iceland with his parents and this was a perfect introduction. He loves it as it is wonderfully illustrated.

This was a gift for a friend traveling to Iceland with her 6 year old. From my peek inside it looked wonderful and was very well recieved.

This is engaging and endearing. My 3 and 7 year old kids both love it!
