Mother Dirt Sulfate Free Shampoo, Natural and Preservative Free (Family Size), 6.8 fl oz

I use only this shampoo now. It's gentle and has no fragrance. A couple years ago I briefly used a prescription shampoo, which did help, but in hopes of preventing the problems from returning, I started using Mother Dirt shampoo and have had good results. Its ingredients include none of the compounds I have diagnosed contact allergies to.The company says using this shampoo can reduce the frequency you need to wash your hair, though that hasn't been the case for me. I have quite oily hair and shampoo every day with Mother Dirt. I often use it like a body wash as well.

I started using Mother Dirt Shampoo several weeks ago. I now wash my hair no more than twice a week, usually just once. From my observation, my hair appears healthier without any kind of shampoo or conditioner residue. My hair is very straight, but using Mother Dirt, it stays more lightweight and feels so clean for close to a week now. I tried going back to my old shampoo and conditioner but had to turn around and wash my hair again with Mother Dirt the next day. Just reordered. It lasts a long time since I shampoo so infrequently.

EDIT 2: Did they change something about the formula or sourcing? I've been using this shampoo for 2+ years but it doesn't seem to be working nearly as well for my psoriasis as it used to. To be fair I have yet to find a shampoo that really does, they're all varying degrees of 'less bad.' Guess it's back to the drawing board (again). I don't want to take off any more than 1 star in case there's another reason for that. This shampoo is somewhat drying, though, and my hair gets oily again quickly, especially if I don't use a hair dryer. I mainly gave it 5 stars originally because of the psoriasis improvement, which is nearly impossible to find in a shampoo so I'm willing to put up with other issues.EDIT: They fixed the container so it doesn't spill everywhere anymore :) thank you! I have searched far and wide for years for a shampoo that helps improve my psoriasis and THIS IS IT!!ORIGINAL: This shampoo is amazing and I highly recommend! However, the container has serious leakage issues - I can't even take the bottle on a short car trip without it spilling everywhere.

I’m really shocked by how well this shampoo works. I have always hated my hair- my hair felt so heavy, greasy and unhealthy despite washing it every day with sulfate free shampoo. I would try washing it every other day for a while to see if that would help but it would just make the problem worse. Ever since using this shampoo in combination with the A+O mist in my hair I have had beautiful hair every day- It is so much lighter, softer and full of volume. I am so grateful for Mother Dirt. I was hesitant because of the price but I will continue to spend the money as long as my hair looks this amazing.

I love this shampoo and also their other products. I've been using the shampoo, body wash/cleanser and AO Mist for about six months. My hair has never had more body. I also use just a bit of conditioner since I have really long hair, but use only about a 1/4 of what I used to need. Same with the shampoo - I need very little, even with hard water, to clean my hair and it rinses easily and quickly. Great company that packages carefully and even gives you ways to recycle their packaging.

Marvelous shampoo! Our family uses nothing else now. No need for expensive chemical-filled shampoos and hair products. Mother dirt shampoo seems to keep our hair clean for a longer time, too. Highly recommend!

My hair has never felt worse since using this. While shampooing you can feel its hard to run your fingers through your hair, its a very odd feeling. It almost feels like you have a bunch of wax or hardening hair product in as you shampoo. By the time my hair dries (slightly damp actually) and I go to put product in, it feels awful, brittle, and dry. And because my hair has been so dry from this my hair looks horrible even after putting product in.I haven't noticed any dry scalp issues like others have noted, just really awful dry hair

No more dry itchy scalp! Took just one use. And my hair feels soft and silky after -- and CLEAN. Will no longer use anything else. The way I feel about other Mother Dirt products--the face and body cleanser, and especially the facial moisturizer. My dermatologist is impressed.

I like this shampoo. I always had dandruff and an itchy scalp and used head and shoulders for years against it. What I like about this particular shampoo is that I can go almost a week without washing my hair with shampoo. It's quite expensive but after almost 2 months, I still have some left which actually makes the product less. Expensive than I anticipated. The only downside is that it didn't fully fix my itchy scalp and I am still struggling with dandruff, but both the itching and the dandruff have significantly decreased! I was also struggling with rosacea and itching on my face, both have disappeared. :) I am guessing that both were a symptom of using regular shampoo, which dried out my face.

After trying various different options, this product works the best.

Shampooing qui fait le job, cependant pas une grande différence en ce qui concerne les démangeaisons du cuir chevelu , bon shampooing qui n'abîme pas les cheveux

Je n'y crois pas mais toute la famille s'y est mis. J'ai voulu tester et finalement résultat parfait, cheveux très propres avec une seule fois ( normalement je fais en deux fois: laver, rincer et relaver).Mes deux filles adolescentes s'y sont mises alors que normalement elles utilisent les shampoings qui leur vendent les dernieres innovations marketing du moment. Le résultat est vraiment parfait et donne satisfaction à tous.

Vraiment très efficace contre les démangeaisons.
