Improvement in temperature stability
13700k with a Maximus Hero Z790 board and H100i Capellix.Had been getting very fluctuating temperatures, ranging up to 100 degrees in pulses on the P core, E core was easily hitting up to 80 degrees under load. Had heard about these being fitted so bought one for peace of mind as it’s very inexpensive.Installing this was really easy - just make sure you undo the clasp on your original bracket to release the tension BEFORE undoing the 4 bolts holding the bracket to the motherboard.Temperatures after install and with changing from MX-4 to MX-6 thermal paste - have seen a much more stable temperature range with the maximum being 76 for P core and 63 for E core.I can’t guarantee this is purely to do with the bracket and not the new paste/heatsink placement but overall you can tell it’s a very snug fit on the CPU and you also have the peace of mind of it not bending further down the line.As stated above, I used a thermal paste that I always use rather than the one supplied in the box.

Amazing product, solved high temp issues on i9
This is simply the best mod for any PC. I have i9 14900k that had huge issues with temperatures. All cores would hit 100C in seconds when stress test was run. After installing this plate temperatures are around 75C at the end of 5 minutes 100% CPU usage stress test. Must have for any i9 CPU.So glad I bought it. Super easy to install too. Just 4 screws.

always buy one
The product arrived exactly as described and matched the pictures perfectly. It does exactly what it is supposed to do and works as expected. The materials are of good quality, and I am happy with the performance so far. Overall, the item is well worth the price I paid, and I’m satisfied with the purchase. Would recommend it to anyone looking for this type of product!

Seems to be a solid design
Installed this with a new install so can't really compare before and after, its a bit nerve racking installing it as it seems wrong taking off the motherboard mounting, using it with a Z790 chipset, have ram running stable over 7000mhz, temperatures seem good, although hindsight wish I tried it without first to compare. It feels solid, nice little compact box, to be fair it's very easy to install.

Sorts out 12900K thermals
Very easy to fit.A stock12900k would thermally throttle on cinebench. Even with a full loop. I fitted this and tested it with an air cooler. It dropped temps by 15 degrees. With the full loop, it dropped temps by 20 degrees plus.I know this is extreme and I must have had a bent IHS but I've never seen such a cheap, easy mod make such a difference.

Was easy to install
This product for me is a must for any intel socket. Originally thought I would try it out because we all know how terrible the mechanism is on intel boards. Since I installed it, it made much more sense. I couldn't imagine my build without it. It's good quality and it performs as you'd expect. It has a sleek design and was well worth the time and money.

Made a big difference to CPU temps.
I found it was easier to remove the MB when installing this.As you can see, when running CPDID CPU-Z stress test at 100%, all the cores have a reduction in the temps, I'm very pleased with the results.

Dropped temps by 20C!!
[Update below]I bought this in an attempt to manage my new 13600k. It was hitting 100c in Blender almost instantly. I thought there may be an issue with the AIO I bought, the ML280 from CoolerMaster. But read that it's mostly safe and normal to have for 12/13th gen to hit 100c and generally clocks speeds remained the same 5.1ghz/3.9ghz. So i left it.It was however something I thought could be better. So I watched a few videos by GN and others on the use of a contact frame, turns out it may actually help.I bought the one recommended this one, Thermalright one and installed it. To my shock the max temps were 80C! From 100C! I couldn't quite believe it. But it was true. So happily sitting here with a nice quiet cool 13600k :)One thing to note, I feel like there was not enough thermal paste first time, when lifting the AIO to install contact frame I notice only 90% of the CPU was covered with thermal paste [see picture] and so maybe there wasnt enough first time. But one thing that was true, the AIO cooler plate wasn't flat on the CPU. Which is the whole point of the contact frame, and therefore a "must have". I say that in quotes, because others do not see a benefit, maybe their cooler contact is better or maybe they use enough force to make it sit flat, who knows. The contact frame though is a guaranteed way of making AIO and CPU have good contact so well recommended from me![EDIT]: this time I was swapping out the AIO (long story about AIO but sticking with the CM280ml) But this time used the included thermal paste and its much better than MX-4! Dropped temps even further to 74c MAX another 5c drop after a 20c drop - incredible - I did also ever so slightly tighten the contact frame so possible more even now, but year the thermal paste is damn good too!
