It works great! I wanted one for the bedroom at night, but didn't want alot of light. This fit the bill perfectly. It gives off a nice glow with some flame effect and melts the wax without issue.

Candles started to bother me with their strong scent after I got pregnant and so I decided to try wax melts that had a softer more gentler scent profile. The way I set up my book nook was to be a cozy and comfy corner and after seeing this max welter, I knew I needed to add it to the area. It slowly melts the wax and fills the area with a soft scent that's not too powerful or bothersome. The timer function worked perfectly for me and the soft dancing of lights to mimic a fireplace were beautiful.The removable tray also makes this easy to clean and I haven't had any spill over happen. (I mention this because an old co-worker I worked with always had spill over on their wax melter in the office.)If you are going for a cozy comfy feel in an area, this is the one to chose.

Love it for wax warming and it's a beautiful piece for decoration as well. The glowing fireplace makes the room look cozy.

I love this fireplace wax melt. It’s adorable and works great. I’ve had it a few weeks. I only turn it off when I sleep. But it Wouldn’t bother me if it was on it barely gives off any lights. I just turn it off to give it a break.
