Always Bring TP into Enemy Territory
I was surprised when I saw that this whole volume was the Yagyu arc. I thought "this is all going to be serious stuff, it'll be weird." But Sorachi is Sorachi, and there's plenty of comedy. I also liked that the omake was mostly about the DS game in Japan (that I really wish would be localized) and Sorachi's experience with Gaming.

Absolutely hilarious series. Some of the references can be a little hard to understand as they reference many things from Japanese culture like manga series, bands, voice actors, idols, and celebrities

Gintama is hilarious, always fun to hang out with social misfits like Shin, Kagura, and the Silver Streak Masterplanner himself.
All Gintama is good, what you expected different?

Gin Tama at it's best!
Over 13 volumes, the Manga-ka has set out the parameters for his world. He's created characters, explored their relationships and set up their interactions with the world around them. With all the groundwork done, the author can finally set back and let the characters be themselves. The result is a hilarious story arc in which characters with distinct motivation and often contrasting goals collide in contest for the heart of Shinpachi's sister. In addition, this volume does what the series has always done well- parodying the formulas of manga storyteller, in particular spoofing the time-tested tales of Yagyu Jubei, the powerful one-eyed samurai. What more can any Gin Tama fan ask for?

Probably the worst of the series...
Gin Tama 14 has come out, and at a change of pace. The series has followed a pattern of short stories, with the ever so often longer story. This issue, however, the entire book is one long story, and it the story was just okay at that. It still has the humor, action, and style as the rest of the series, it just didn't do it as well.

Blood and bandages are kinda cool. They're a good look
Gin Tama volume 14 contains chapters 113 to 121.Gintama is set in a world that has samurai, aliens, ninjas, monsters, pirates and anything you can think of really.Gintoki, Kagura, Shinpachi and Sadaharu make up the Yorozuya, a jack-of-all-trades group that help people with any type of problem (for a small fee)Kyube's arc takes up the entire volume so unlike the previous volumes, we don't see any episodic chapters. But we do see great teamwork (?) from Kagura and Sogo!Hijikata's past is revealed! And a toilet paper crisis!!Another excellent volume! Only Hideaki Sorachi can make a serious fight so funny!Kyube's arc concludes in the next volume!
