Why the SI
If you are wondering about the SI following Summit Viper I can offer an explanation. This stand uses the older backpacking straps and the rail padding is Velcro secured instead of the newer zipper style. The stabilization strap is slightly different as well but works as well as the newer style. Same Summit quality just older appointments.

Easy to set up/take down. Light to carry in/out.

Nice stand
My new favorite stand. First climbing stand and it took a little too get used to it. Definitely glad I got the aluminum one. My only gripe is I wish the shoulder straps were more comfortable, but over all really nice stand. Got mine on sale for low $200s.
