Pictures do not do it justice -- this is an amazing Lego creation
Legos were a big part of my childhood, as were the OG transformers. While this kit appeals strongly to my nostalgia, I have to add that the final product of this design is top-notch, even for Lego. To have this level of detail and transformability in a Lego object is just fantastic. The weakest point has to be the joint at the waist, but there are plenty of videos detailing small mods that make the seemingly impossible happen: improving this kit.

Amazing!
This was SO much fun to build as an adult. We had to space it out over a few days just to extend the fun. It looks fantastic and is on display now. It is difficult to create so definitely not meant for younger children with less coordinated fingers.
