great for kids in school to learn about magnets

Absolutely not worth $15
The magnets are magnets. They do what magnets do, so that’s fine. I know the packaging says they won’t be too strong, but they’re weaker than a refrigerator magnet. This is being listed as a children’s toy but the little container of magnetic dust is so flimsy that if you drop it from a foot it’ll break. It says 3+ years of age but a grown adult could break it with ease if any pressure is put on the container. I’m not satisfied with this product.

Fun and educational
Great way to introduce kids to magnetism. Kit includes powered iron in a sealed plastic container. Can be used to show magnetic field.

They are ok for illustrating magnetism, but not very powerful!
I got these magnets set for my three-year-old daughter. They are not strongly magnetic, but they are ok for illustrating magnetism. There is a box with a magnetic powder included (sealed so that the child does not touch it), and the powder moves with the movement of the magnet. The magnets are easily breakable, my daughter broke one by accidentally dropping it on the cement, right after I opened the package. This is not the product's fault, since it is mentioned in the instructions that the magnets are brittle and should not be dropped to the ground.

manage your expectations
the magnets are weak and brittle. they're adequate for moving iron filings to show lines of magnetic force but not much more than that. As a science kit i'll give it s B+ as for doing anything else with them a solid D.

Quality
Magnets have very little strength.

Fun for grandkids
This was a gift for my 6-year-old grandson. He enjoyed exploring how the magnets worked. The first drop on our tile floor easily broke one of the magnets. Not as sturdy as I expected.

It was an interesting toy to play and discover. They can break you need to be careful

Uno de los imanes se partió el primer día de uso. Como imanes educativos no sirven si son tan frágiles

Great for young children, they can feel the magnets push away from each other, or try to pull together. My grandson, loved going around the home to see what they would stick too, or pull up ie paper clips

Do not buy. Waste of money.

These magnets are very weak and the field lines are hardly visible when using iron filings. Sent back for a refund.
