Sheer Brilliance
How the writers keep up such a high standard is beyond me. Every series has been well paced, gripping and thoroughly enjoyable. Series 5 is no exception. The box set arrived Saturday and today, Monday, I just finished watching all of the episodes. It's like reading a book that's unputdownable! Can't wait for Series 6, though i will have to. If you've never seen Grimm do yourself a favour and buy all of the series.

Plot-driven rather than character-led
Good, although not as good as previous seasons. Season 5 focuses very heavily on plot and less on character, which is a shame since a lot of what gives the show it's charm is the development of characters we've come to care about and, vitally, the interactions between them. These now seem to have been sidelined in favour of storytelling, centering on Nick and Adelind. This leaves us with too little Monroe and Rosalee for my taste. I really like Monroe and Rosalee. However, as said, it's still a good show...

Watchable and well done...
I'm not normally a fan of this type of thing (supernatural) but Grimm had me gripped from season one onward. Season 5 loses none of that watchable feeling with decent characters and acting.

I love Grimm. Totally addicted and season 5 is just as brilliant as the other seasons. Storylines are great and characters still all blend in to make it a must have in anyone's DVD collection.

Love this tv show. I have finished watching the season and yet still go back to it more than once. I definitely recommend buying. It was delivered ahead of time which was great.
