Morning Brings The Light / John James / Sky In My Pie / Head In The Clouds

Fantastic to get all these records on one CD. John James is a brilliant guitarist who I have enjoyed listening since first seeing him in 1972. Pete Berryman's collaboration with him on Sky in my Pie produced some outstanding playing and composing. Nice to see them reproduce some their work on YouTube. I was delighted to find this CD available and recommend it.

John James should be on the 'listen-to' list of every acoustic guitarist, and this is a low cost option for acquiring much of his recorded output. Although the Amazon page lists two complete LPs on each CD, that was not in reality the case as one of the LPs was split across two CDs. I found this inconvenient and irritating.

Words cannot describe the beauty of guitar playing at this level......

If you like fantastic acoustic guitar playing this is for you! I had all four of these albums on vinyl in the 70'd and have been searching avidly for them on CD since! A bonus having them all on one CD at a bargain price. Fantastic'

Why can’t you get his later albums on cd.

John James is an amazing guitar player.I have been lucky to have seen him live and can recommend this set.He is right up there with the very best players.Lovely sense of humour and a skilled guitar player but accessible and not too dry.Beautiful tunes.Go out and buy

Finally the Transatlantic albums of John James available! OK he is obscure but for Ragtime guitar one of the masters. Really good for writing reviews of articles, Amazon orders etcGot here on time
