This is a solid functional unit. Very robust and very clean when installed. I fitted this to replace an old Domino unit that was just old (at least 23 years) that failed. It had worked well but just looked old fashioned. The new unit rather than work of batteries needs a 12 VDC supply but is very low current so a piggy backed of an existing security camera power supply. For me the garage door control only needs a momentary contact and the unit provides a normally open and normally closed contacts for magnetic looks etc. It does provide a bell function and a Wigeand Output which is a more secure option but I did not use these. Also up to 2000 users and RFI key function. I have one user so only one number. The electronics are solidly cast so I believe will be water proof. My one criticism is that the multi coloured wire is only 100 mm long. This means that you cannot put the wire through a double brick wall into a JB. Single Brick may be OK. Luckily the unit I was replacing was fitted to the 75mm wooden door frame but I bought a very shallow jb that would fit sideways inside the door frame and clear of the door. You do only need 4 wires for what I was doing (+12VDC, 0VDC, Com and NO) but I like to bring everything to a terminal strip. The wire is very think so you should put ferrules on the end. In theory with the installation I have, someone could break the unit of the wall or unscrew the tamper resistant screw that holds the keypad to the cast box, and then connect the right wires together and open the door! Firstly you would have to have the right screw driver or you would need a crowbar to remove the whole box. In my case, with the short wires mentioned, any sort of removal of the key pad would probably put the wires out of the terminal block inside. Also the mentioned camera looks directly at the key pad area so I feel this is secure. However, for a more secure requirement, using a separate Wigeand controller would work well. It would be nice to be able to program the keypad to only light up when the first key is pushed as it does stand out in the dark. Overall a very nice unit and cheaper than replacing just the Domino Key Pad

Arrived in good time and looks the part, heavy construction and seems like it’s built well Easy to program and worked like a dream Only installed so no longevity rating

Bad side is: Instructions are so small, that even with a magnifying glass its difficult. I could not program it for a few hours, even by following the instructions and videos. Thanks to my wife she did it in the end. The good side is: it is sealed in side to stop damage from water. It seems to be very solid metel. Once you get past the few problems, it is good, and works well, and I like the blue back light. My other one was a different make and stopped working after a few months, but thanks to the amazing service of Amazon, they gave me a full refund. So I hope this last's at least a year or two. I will be back to let you know if it stops working. If you don't hear from me, then you know its still working. 25/March 2023.

No negatives, only positives... Setup and installed on outside gate with ease and programmed the key fobes no problem. I even managed to programme a credit card access keycard I use on my front door. So happy just to use one card for gate and door now.... HIGHLY RECOMMEND..!!!

Fab keypad! Although it looked as tho you get the cards with it you don’t! But easy to fit, loud beeps, nice looking and great for the price will use more

I have three of these units and they have all started to open the gates at any time day or night.

Very good unit but unfortunately doesn’t last. Already on third replacement. Usually relay problems after time. Also cables could be LONGER!
