A just in case purchase but glad I bought it
I had already ordered the ironing board, which came with a cover, but in my experience, the covers generally don't last too well. However, it will probably be YEARS before I need to replace the cover, as it is so brilliantly designed and fitted to the ironing board. Not a standard size, so it probably won't fit a standard ironing board, but if you can afford the Foppapedretti ironing board, buy it as it is truly an investment and will last for years and years.

Nice replacement cover, not sure about the fit
I’m not sure about the fit. I’ve had this ironing board for several years and always loved its design. I needed a new cover, so was delighted to find the same one, still on sale. However, and this might just be me, I preferred the original cover, which was elasticated so a snug fit is guaranteed. The replacement cover is a pull cord, and I’m not sure the fit is as good or tight. Otherwise very nice.

Perfect as always
I bought the ironing board in 1998 or so. It is wonderful that 25 years later it is still possible to get replacement covers which are perfect for the job.
