A remarkable and accurate digital weight scale for the price. Used for weighing out powder for rifle and pistol cases but only reads to 0.1 of a grain. If you are a reloader and unsure then look it up on u-tube.

I need a high-precision scale for measuring small amounts of gunpowder, for shooting. The amounts are always less than a gramme, and usually less than half a gram. A minimum accuracy of 6 mg is required. I already have a scale that I am confident achieves this accuracy, but it is of the mechanical balance type, and fiddly to use, especially with gloved hands. However, I would not trust any electronic scale for something as critical as weighing powder, without calibrating it against a mechanical balance. The consequences of an error are just too scary.This scale feels flimsy and cheap but, so far at least, it seems to deliver. It does take a little while to warm up and, if you need milligramme accuracy, it needs to be calibrated repeatedly, especially if the temperature changes. Accuracy could be adversely affected by mechanical shocks -- not just in the short term, but forever; the instructions are pretty clear about this.In the end, the accuracy of this device will be limited by the supplied calibration weight, which will need to be kept clean and dry.So far, this seems to be a reasonable supplement to my mechanical balance, although for my application I don't feel confident about using it as my only scale.

Would not calibrate drifted badly off zero.Arrived with dents in the batteries and was an opened box that someone else had obviously returned already because it wasn't working properly.Returned for a refund.

States 0.001g and suitable for jewellery but doesnt weight the diamonds that are in the range. Very dissapointed

Claims to read to 0.02gn but only reads to 0.1gn. Item returned
