Initially you think that you have got something that represents good value. Lots of kit, decently packaged. Unfortunately things start going downhill from the moment you unpack it. A bit of dust on the screen at the back of the camera led me to gently pass my thumb across it. This resulted in dozens of micro-scratches being left behind on the soft plastic, irritating as I like to keep things pristine. After setting it up I started testing it with the correct Android app on my phone (after scanning the barcode in the instructions to find the actual app) and all seemed well. I noticed how very hot the sdcard got as I formatted it via the camera menus - a bit odd.I then mounted it to by handlebars of my bicycle and went out for a ride. Stopping for a coffee, I turned it off and took it in to the shop with me. Could I get the phone to connect to it? No. Despite the phone being connected to it's wifi, the app kept showing me a wifi error. 20 frustrating minutes later the device was getting spectacularly hot, so much so that I ejected the overheating battery and left it on the table to cool down. A short while later, I put it back together and cycled home. Trying again to connect to it via my phone once home, still the wifi failed to connect so I ejected the SDCard and used a USB card reader and my laptop.Firstly the video footage - awful. The resolution and angles of view are good but the juddering from the bikes vibrations made the video an absolute shuddering, unwatchable, mess. Obviously no OIS or image stabilisation. Secondly, and the most annoying, it only recorded exactly the first 10minutes of the outgoing and returning rides! It obviously stops itself / times out for some reason 10mins after the record button is pressed. Thankfully this was only a test so nothing exciting missed, but what the hell? I can see nothing in the menus (nor any reason) why it should decide that 10mins is enough. Rubbish.So, in to the drawer of guilt it goes, with the other cheap rubbish I have bought and regretted but cannot bring myself to throw out. Maybe I can still return it, I will contact Amazon and see what the costs will be.At least if I do keep it, the extras will hopefully fit the GoPro I should have bought in the first place.

I bought this camera because I really couldn’t afford the more expensive brands. This camera ended up being a great choice! It is very easy to use and comes with useful accessories, including an extra battery. I’m excited to try it under water and strapped to my toddler. The pictures and video were easily uploaded to my computer using a TF card.

I just got the camera and it is awesome. It came with 2 batteries and a ton of accessories including a case.
