Beautiful moving rainbows fill the room
I bought this rainbow maker for my Mum & she loves it. It only works when the sun shines on the small solar panel (which does NOT store energy for use when the sun goes in,) so be sure to position it on a window that receives lots of sunlight. It sends rainbow circles moving all round the room which are very pretty. All visitors to her house have admired the lovely effect it creates. My friend has several positioned round her house as her handicapped daughter loves to sit & watch the rainbows. I recommend getting this double version as you get twice the amount of rainbows from the real crystals that slowly rotate to create the rainbows. A faint wirring noise can be heard when it is working which you hardly notice. I recommend this Rainbow maker as it is a good price compared to others & is well made & very effective.

Love these
This was bought to replace an older one (15 years old!) which had finally given way and dived down onto the radiator which crunched the crystals knocking one off completely and damaged the mechanism which had been working perfectly even after all this time! The original was a gift from my mother alongside a single drop version, and I really loved the beautiful rainbows which whizzed around our bedroom on a sunny morning, so I decided to try and get another one hence this purchase. The item was a little more expensive than I thought it may be but I'm hoping that it lasts as long as the last one so that should even out the cost. The colours of the internal workings are lovely (and show me just how much the original had faded from the sun) and the mechanism seems to be working fine, but as we have yet to have some sun since I received this one - it is winter after all - I will have to reserve judgment. However it is now on the window alongside the old single drop version awaiting the arrival of some sunshine ☀.*** Added section. Yeah, we had enough sunshine for me to see that this is working perfectly to replace the original (now damaged) crystals. I am so glad to have many rainbows racing around the bedroom again. ***I have no idea why this diverted to Chicago for a week before delivery here, but I do hope it had as good a time there as I have had previously! Sadly I removed a star not for the product itself but because the delivery was 11 days after the the end of the original delivery window.

Rainbows gently whirl around my walls… I love it
Stick this on a south facing window and when the sun shines on the solar panel the crystal rotates and you get lots of little rainbows revolving around the walls.I have had lots of visitors admiring it, trying to work out where the moving, rainbow flecks are coming from.I’m going to order another one for my goddaughter!

Beautiful rainbows
I have 3 of these now situated around the house on various windows. When the sun shines, they create the most gorgeous rainbows that zoom and chase each other around your room :-) There is a wee ticking as the mechanics work but I barely hear it and it doesn't spoil the experience at all. It's great to see it working in the sun as the product is clear so as to see the internal workings. I have also bought one fir my daughter and she also loves it. The suction is very good and I can easily move each one to catch the sun at a different window and not loose any suction. It's a brilliant idea that adds colour into your home :-)

Lovely
The media could not be loaded. An Easter present for my daughter. Splendid little prism-like contraption to help children understand the light spectrum. Works straight out of the box. Very light, so we carry it to whichever window the light shines brightest from at the time. The larger the room and the distance between the crystal and the wall, the larger the rainbows. A bit noisy, but a brilliant little feature in the room of a child or teenager who's a budding artist or scientist.
