This was a complete waste of money it does not do what it's meant to. The magnets are not strong enough to hold the platform in place. Concept is good but it does not work. Turtle cannot climb up as it is not sturdy enough to use

The perfect snoozing spot for our male musk turtle's bachelor pad. He spends hours sunbathing daily, so we invested in plenty of space for him to do so. We did replace the outside magnets with neodymium ones sellotaped to the tank for strength, as the ones it comes with are a little weak.

Magnet mount works much better than products with zu tion mount. Turtles love it.

I bought the large version of this turtle island. It holds the weight of my 6 year old red eared slider but the ramp isn't low enough in the water for him to climb onto it. We've had to force it to sit lower in the water with some suction cups from an old heater. Needs adjusting every so often if the water level changes or the suction cups fall off but terrapin is able to get on and happily bask now.Btw the magnets got thrown out immediately because they kept falling off - absolutely useless.

I was sceptical at first because the reviews are so mixed, however, when it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. It worked well, looked lovely and Squirt was one happy turtle.Two weeks later and the whole thing has sunk down because the magnets are no longer holding the platform up. It used to have a big space underneath for Squirt to hide and now she can’t even get under it. So disappointed 😔 I looked everywhere for a decent basking platform and thought I found the perfect one. Sadly not 😭

Have a ‘large’ turtle? Then DON’T BOTHER WITH THIS! This product has been made for turtles no bigger than your hand! I bought it, put it in my tank, my turtle (roughly about 10” in width) lifted himself onto it and the magnets immediately detach (fridge magnets are stronger than the ones provided!) but If you have a small turtle or a large turtle and you like looking for four magnets down the back of your tank all the time then buy this product... be advised though, you WILL have to buy another when they grow bigger, and at £30 why bother?!Also be advised, Aquacadabra promise next day delivery, not true (4 days) I asked them for a refund/ return as this was no good for me (took them 2 days to refuse a return/refund) they claimed, “turtle is 10 inches this would not support the weight, Therefore the item is not faulty it is simply being used for the wrong sized turtle” this information would have been useful in the product description, but hey, you’re not going to sell many then are you? So permit me to enlighten you all, stay away from this product and service!

My turtle loves to flip it over and then he can't get back on it until I flip it back over for her. The magnets lasted one day with my red eared slider but I have the water flow pointed at the dock at the other end of tank and it stays under the lights

Sadece küçük, ince camlı akvaryumlarda tam tutuş performansı alabilirsiniz.

I have two false map turtles of around 20 cm, quite big; the island is able to hold at least one of them without sinking, the magnets are holding up well too. I'm very happy with it, the magnets indeed are not strong, but I stacked them on couple, only on one side, and they are holding up, allowing the island to accommodate the turtle when going up and down.

Todo muy bien, hasta que vi que venia roto. Parece ser que era el ultimo producto que tenian en venta, porque ya no esta disponible con el vendedor. Que decepcion que venga asi y mas porque es la isla PEQUEÑA.

Ottimo. Le tartarughe la adorano. Restano ore a fare basking sulla nuova isola, sempre sopra il livello dell'acqua e sempre asciutta.
