Look No Further
I recently laid a patio in June 2013 using Blockleys clay bricks which left me with quite a lot of cutting to do around my bay window and edges . I found that the diamond blades were quite expensive and couldn't justify a profession quality disc as this was just a one off project . I came across this cheap and cheerful disc and tongue in cheek I thought I would give it a crack of the whip as it cost less than a tenner including the postage . To my amazement and delight , it cut the hard baked clay bricks like a hot knife through butter using my sliding compound mitre saw instead of the commonly used and inaccurate angle grinder , this enabled me to cut the 200mm bricks lengthways as well as cross cutting . I have so far cut around 60 bricks , and although its showing small signs of tiring it still has a long way to go before it needs replacing , this product is just fantastic value for money and I can't speak high enough of it . I'm about to order another just as a spare . My only criticism is that I could only get a 230mm diameter and not the 255mm which my saw requires , but you can easily overcome this by putting a thin piece of wood underneath the brick just to raise it up , or do as I did and cut the brick with a very acute angle on it and not a 90 degree angle , by doing this , when you snap the waste piece off , any residual bits that stop on the good side , don't interfere with whatever is next to it , This also makes it easier to skim a sliver of brick of the edge as you only take the top part off and not have to cut a 90 degree angle the whole thickness of the brick . Just buy it , you will be delighted !

Good Value Diamond Disc
I bought 2 of these discs after reading the existing reviews which were helpful, I compared the reviews to other similar products and this Disc came out favourably. So far, I've made cuts totally 60 feet in 2 inch thick paving slabs which it cut with ease, the disc is starting to show signs of wear and I don't think it would cut another 60 feet, However, for the money, I really didn't expect it to do as well as it has done. I have some more cutting to do in old concrete, I think the disc will cope well enough and I probably won't need to change onto the second disc which will become a spare for the next big job. I can recommend this product as good value for money and an excellent product for the task I tackled. It obviously wouldn't do as well as a disc costing ten times the price, but I wouldn't expect it to. I would certainly buy this brand again. Certainly adequate for most DIY tasks and even professional small scale building tasks. The discs last longer, cut better and are less expensive overall than fibre discs.

Worth their weight in gold
Had a project to build a new roof and I needed to cut dozens of concrete roof tiles. Started with the normal abrasive stone discs that I am familiar with an wore out a disc cutting just 4 tiles and needed to order more. Bought half a dozen abrasive disc thinking I needed that many and I bought just one of these just as an experiment as they didn't look like they would last ten seconds. Completed the whole job with just one of these disc's and barely touched it in terms of warring it out. Cut was much more fine and precise than typical abrasive discs. Of course the paint has rubbed off but what do you expect. Clearly with any heavyweight tool such as a 9 inch grinder you need a little care in use as if you go at the material too quickly you could chip it a little on start and end of cut but that's down to skill in use of such a tool. For me these cutting disks are worth their weight in gold.

Good while it lasted
This is a cheap diamond disk, and you get what you pay for. If you want to only cut a few bits this will be perfect but not for prolonged heavy use. I managed to cut 16 reinforced concrete fence posts with it before it was completely blunt. On the up side it is balanced well, causing very little vibration and cut is accurate.

It cuts concrete slabs
I’ve cut six concrete slabs with ease. My last one lasted me years. Let’s see how this one fairs. Certainly way better than a tungsten carbide disk.

gewoon supergoed
Weinig stof bij slijpen van betontegels, scherpe snede en schijfjes gaan erg lang mee.

Disco abrasivo, bueno y barato

Buen producto a buen precio.
