Perfect to aid visibility when early morning running

I had hoped to wear these on my upper arms, where I wore my old battery powered bands, but they are not long enough for this. I am a size 14 female, so not huge arms, but am over 50 so not as toned as I could be. They do go right round the arm, but are not long enough to overlap, as soon as I started to run, they begun to unroll off my arms. I tried them on the forearms, still not long enough. I needed to wear them on my wrists before they were secure, but as I run with my arms up in front of me, they could only be seen from approaching vehicles, not from behind.I now wear them on my ankles, they fit well, remain secure and can be seen from behind and in front. The only downside, I can't turn them off without breaking stride once it becomes light (I run early mornings), so I just leave them on until I return home. No big deal, I just feel a little daft running with them on in full daylight, but hey ho, safety first.They do not take long to charge, they last for a good while on a charge, and the charging port also has a little rubber cover to keep moisture out on rainy days.They are very bright and I have been told how far away I can be seen from.In a nutshell, apart from the size issue, they are excellent.

Ordered for walking the dogs late afternoon and evening. Brilliant you can see me coming down the road.

Amazed how bright these are! Bought for Christmas for our kids for riding home from school, and was really pleased with how visible they are, with really good level of brightness all along the band. Charge seems to last a while - it's the end of January and haven't yet had to recharge them yet.The one down side is that they've been played with at home quite heavily, and the metal inner part (the bit that makes it roll up) has pushed it's way through the fabric at the end, and needs pushing back in every now and then. It's still perfectly useable, and if you're not buying it as a toy I don't anticipate this problem, but worth being aware of.

The media could not be loaded. I used to use standard, basic reflective armbands for running and as an addition to my backpack when I’m hiking at night in potentially hazardous areas. But now I’ve discovered these bad boys which can only be described as reflective armbands 2.0.As you’d expect from any reflective armband, the snapback is very strong and stable, there is no way these are falling off. The reflective element is certainly less than that of what you’d find on a solid plastic armband, as these are coated in a fabric with reflective lines. However, once you click the button the luminosity shines bright! You can select between a rapid flash, to a slower option, to no flash at all.Hopefully the promoted battery life of 5-8 hours (depending on the flash) is accurate.

Overall I like these, they are bright and easy to use. I have been using them to walk the dog early in the morning in the dark and no-one could miss me. My one niggle is that as you can see from the photo after they have been on for a while they curl up on your arm. They don't fall off, still shine brightly so are doing what they need to do but they just feel odd when they curl like this. I am normally wearing just a thin running top or fine waterproof, so my clothing is not bulky. I found putting them on my wrists worked better at stopping this happening, but then I found that in the dark every time I swung my arms the light was so distracting it caused temporary blindness as to my surroundings. I ended up this morning putting them on my ankles as these were thin enough for then not to curl after time, and were less distracting as not in my eyeline. Overall a good value safety product.

They are bright...if you can get them to work. Both of these armbands stopped working after the first use. The connection between the battery box and the rest of the strap came loose and there is no way to fix it without dismantling/destroying the product. Disappointing.
