It helps my daughter sleep during flight
I bought this for our trip to VietNam. My daughter 14 months was able lay on the seat and use it for foot rest. In the picture of the advertisement, it look more straight but when my daughter put her weight on it, it deeper down a little bit. But it is worth for her to rest during the flight. We bought 2 different types of footrest the same style but different store, this one it is more durable than. The price is kind of expensive for this simple foot rest. However, the shipping is take forever. Seems like the seller not update to ship the item. I thought I would not received it for our trip. I checked the tracking every day and it take around a week or more for the seller to ship. Luckily I received 2 days before my trip.

Excellent for the plane; superior to those inflatables
We got this for our 6 + 6 hour flight from FL to HI and it was awesome. We’ve had those giant inflatable cubes you’re supposed to blow up and wedge between your seat and the one in front of you and this is SO SO much better. For one, it doesn’t deflate or shift or create an embarrassing 5 minutes of you trying to inflate a giant wedge with your breath in an increasingly tighter airplane cabin- but for another, it’s super low profile when you’re transporting it; it securely attaches to the tray bars and the seatbelt and it made it so much more comfortable for both my kids (4 and 7) to rest on the plane. It was also great when they were playing with toys or drawing with crayons because it prevented things from falling on the floor and being lost forever. It was also completely unnoticed by the person sitting in front of us (I checked) and a great price. This is definitely a great buy and travel buddy.

Not allowed on planes
Product performed fine but I wasn’t able to use. Flight attendant told me nothing is allowed to attach to the airplane.

Slipped a lot
Loved the idea. Didn't really work in practice. Rarely return things, but this didn't deliver.

Great Item, In Theory, However, Disagreement over Whether Practical.
What we receivedWe received a near square medium duty clear tape sealed plastic package, measuring 9” x 11" x 2" weighing in at near (10) ounces. Folded within was the footrest/bed. Inserts were included inside, that gave basic instructions.Too smallI was really excited to receive this, from when I opened the package to when I started to open this up. However, my spouse had to do a mock trial and said in theory this appeared a great item, however, disagreed on its practicality and whether the steward/stewardess would allow this to clutter the row. Point acknowledged, but how about the tray? That’s down. So, we would have to be taking this off and on depending on the vagaries of the attendants and bumpiness of the ride. Because it did seem a little unstable.QualitySeems sturdy and durable enough.Would I select this again.I say yes, my spouse said no.RatingBased on the totality, I compromised and allow a weak four (4) stars while my spouse said lower.GiftingWould be okay for gifting, although no tags, the packaging was simple and it kind of looks like a commodity item that was bought on the cheap.ValueIn hindsight, and now having this in-hand, having this priced at near $50 is too high. A price less than half of that would be an idea to consider giving this a try.MeasuresMeasures near 32” long and 18” wide. The average leg room is 31” on a planeI hope my thoughts were informational.

Works fine, but need to wrap around seat
I used this foot rest travel bed on a recent airplane flight for a 3 y/o and it worked, there are some things to be aware of. It comes with a nice bag to store it in and it is easy enough to roll it back together and put it in there. The main issue is that on the side towards the back (seat side), the strap wraps around the seat, so you really need to be aware of what is behind the seat like another passenger. The other side you wrap around the arms of the tray table, so you do need a seat with a tray table to use it (no bulkhead seat). Others mentioned issues using it with the flight attendants, though I didn't have any on my one use, but I would probably follow the same rules as using a car seat as to which seats to use it in (no isle or exit row, for example) to be safe. It works fine, and the best part is keeping things from dropping to the floor.

Works as intended, easy set up, but with a few cons
Pros:- easy solution to give little ones a more comfortable leg position for long flights and keep their toys off the floor-little kids can even use it as a bed… note: this will only work for very young or short kids. This product will not hold their body weight, their body must still sit primarily on the plane’s seat.-light and compact, even comes with a carrier bag to keep it folded up-uncomplicated design, quick easy to install in the plane seat… much easier than the blow up footrest models-grippy textured underside to keep it from slipping on the seat- little pocket is very useful for holding toys or snacks and keeping them within reachCons:-stitching is not the best, mine came with lots of loose threads and irregularities. I just trimmed the treads to use, but I’m concerned as to how the stitching will hold up over extended use.- the instructions say this is not machine washable. For a product designed for kids (who inevitably will make a mess) and to go on an airplane seat (which are touched by so many people and their germs) this seems a bit silly and gross. I may end up putting it through the washer and just air drying and hope for the best.
