How many gallons does this hold? Need it for another purpose.

maybe 1/2 gallon, but only fill to line.

Does this work with a low fuel sensor?

I does NOT connect to the fuel at all. I installed this on my son’s 2000 F-250 7.3 liter Powerstroke. It connects directly to the radiator in two places.
