Not very gentle
I bought this as I have another denman brush and the bristles are very stiff so I thought this would be gentler, I was wrong! The bristles are very sharp and really pull on tangles. The brush also makes hair very static if used on dry hair. I have given three stars on the basis of that I like the size and handle better than a tangle tweezer and it is good for distributing product on wet (already detangled!) hair. However for the purpose of detangling I will definitely be sticking to a tangle tweezer to save my kids the pain

Does the job 👍🏾
The bristles are quite hard and it doesn't detangle as well as the other denman toddler brush I had but it is okay for afro hair and it makes her curls pop. Takes a little while to detangle as the brush is small (but my baby has a big afro).Just be careful if your child doesn't have afro or very curly hair, this may hurt them with the sharp bristles.

Cute hairbrush but bristles are too sharp/rough
We are big fans of Child’s Farm products so thought this hairbrush would be ideal for our 2 year old whose hair has got quite long. But unfortunately the bristles are really sharp/rough and it pulls on knots. Subsequently our 2 year old won’t let us use it on her. We have now purchased a mini Tangle Teezer hairbrush, which we know will be fine as we had been using an adult’s Tangle Teezer paddle brush on her no problem - we just thought it would be nice for her to have her own hairbrush and one that is more suited to her age/size. Despite this though, the Child’s Farm hairbrush is a great size and the horse picture on it makes it a nice brush for little ones. We just feel it is not kind enough for young heads/hair or for people who don’t like having their hair brushed.

A great brush - easily detangles long hair
A great hair brush. My three year old loves it. It detangles long hair very easy and smoothly. We use it with the Childs Farm Detangler spray, a fab combination for everyday hair care. I definitely recommend this brush.

A good brush for little ones
This brush works well for my 3 year old. It's better at getting out tangles than the last brush I was using. She loved that it had the horse on it too.
